Firefox does not do it anymore

One of my laptops got stuck in an "automatic repair loop" but it was running windows 8 and didnt like to work anyway. I use my phone now to come here. I used to hate using my phone to browse, but it's lighter than a laptop! Im more used to it now. But definitely dont type as much anymore. Makes me use the site in a more twitterish way. Long replies just dont mix with a tiny phone keyboard.
 
I've been using the Vivaldi browser since its release. It's from the original developers behind the Opera browser, who invented stuff like tabbed browsing among other features that eventually became industry standard.

I often find that because the keyboard and forum looks smaller on the phone, that when I write a long post on my phone, and I see it on my laptop, I do a double take because I swore I wrote a longer post! 😂🤣

I use safari mostly, unless a website is only compatible with chrome. Some of my work programs only work with chrome.
 
I was only thinking the other day, you don't hear anything about Firefox anymore.

I'm also a phone person, my laptop hasn't been able to do an update in years, and is very slow now, plus somewhat falling apart.
 
I still use Firefox as my main browser - the site works for me on it - but I have had problems with the computer freezing, and I suspect Firefox is the cause, especially when it plays certain types of video; YouTube works fine, Prime Video does not. My graphics card may be wearing out.
 
I use opera on my phone because it allows me to zoom text to huge and wraps the text to the next line.
I also use firefox on the phone occasionally but find Opera is more convenient, reliable and better thought out for the phone (even though i mostly view the "desktop" versions of pages.) A few corporate pages will *only* load Edge, Chrome or Firefox.

On the computer i use firefox. I dislike Chrome. I occasionally use Pale Moon that is a lot like firefox used to be, but i only use it on my computer. I would have to download it from their site and opera works well enough and blocks most ads; so i have not checked. I don't know if Pale Moon works with Android.
 
You poor people who only use a phone for being on this site, I use a Samsung TV 32 inch monitor.
 
I not a fan of having to use my phone for anything other than a phone. I would rather be using my desktop for browsing or EM'ing. I have three 24" monitors on my DT so I can spread things out when needed.

This is getting harder and harder. More and more sites - in the credit card/store card/whatever card - are being shut down and replaced entirely with an app, or logging into banking sites now requires an app as well. My phone is simply too old to cope with it.
