First complete rewatch

I've been trying to rewatch Buffy in it's entirety for years and I figured if I do this I'll have to watch every episode again and not be tempted to skip any. I'm basically gonna go through each episode and ask questions, point out what I love and what scares or disturbs me and then pick a favorite quote or two from the episode. Just finished the first four episodes so here they are.

1x01 Welcome to the Hellmouth
Questions:
Who the hecks is narrating at the beginning and why isn't it Giles?
Was the Black Plague really an early form of germ warfare?
Loves:
Xander getting knocked off of his skateboard by a handrail? . . . epic!
Love Flutie! Wish my principal was that nice. Probably wouldn't have been such a delinquent then.
Giles. Everything Giles goes in the Loves pile. At least during this episode.
Am scared/unnerved by:
Creepy valley girl speak in the locker room.
Joyce's hair?
The Master's FACE! Also . . . kind of . . . his outfit. That is one oddly placed pocket.
Favorite Quotes:
Xander (to Buffy): "Can I have you?" . . . . Ahahahaha! *giggles.
Angel (to Buffy): "I never said I was yours." . . . Silly silly Angel. You've always been hers. *shakes head.

1x02 The Harvest

Giles: "The Earth is doomed." . . . Love that this line comes full circle in the last ep.

1x03 Witch
Question:
Is it just me or is this the episode of the magical moving island in the Summers' kitchen? At first it's not there, then it's too far from the sink and then it's in the right place. 😵

Giles trying to be forbidding.
Xander's fascination with cheerleaders.

Convenient hairbrush to steal hair from.
Am Scared/unnerved by:
Pom poms.
Barbie Dolls on hooks.

That it was Giles that saves the world.

My intense desire to punch Harmony in the face! Oh and everyone dying.

LOL Joyce doesn't want Giles to come over for Christmas because she boinked him on the hood of a police car!
So I'm getting all into this intense, Angel! You were evil! Moment and then they flash back to him as a human? With the music and the falling out of the chair drunk? I cracked up . . .and then felt bad about it.

Oh man. That dream, between Buffy and Angel. . .
Also Willow trying to seduce Oz. And his reaction to said seduction.

Does anyone else get reminded of Mick Jagger by that crazy vamp? I don't know why but I always do, since I was like, 17, that's all I can think about when I see him.

Oh, this episode. I don't like to see Buffy so weak.

This episode is AWESOME. One of the best parts has to be Giles attacking Willow with a hug.
