Willow says that there's a code that they have, that meant that he was in trouble, so Im guessing he did it before the tying up...or...wait...ok...maybe it was mistake!

lol! I was just thinking about asking this myself!

It makes no sense...just a blooper...unless he sent it just before!

The Loyal - he could have sent it before, like, it meant either "I got lucky don't call me for a while" or "my dates a demon". SO, maybe he thought he was gunna get lucky so he sent it to her before he knew she was a demon. Who knows.
