First episode you watched

"School Hard." I think this was actually a very good episode to start off with. There's Spike and Dru's introduction, a little bit of history with Angel and Spike, Snyder continually on Buffy's case, the mother-daughter dynamic between Buffy and Joyce, and just Buffy kicking ass. Hey, I ran out and bought the first season DVD later that day, so I got hooked instantly. 🙂

First episode I watched was The Witch, I think. It was smart and funny, and everything the show was. Hooked!

While I did catch the show from the beginning.. most people I introduced the show to after its run probably caught Once More With Feeling

The first episode I saw was 'Angel' when it first aired. I was only a child so because the episode was centred on Angel I thought he was called 'Buffy' and the show was about him. I remember wishing the show was about the real Buffy instead lol, because I wanted a female role model.

This is one of not too many shows I managed to catch from the beginning and still working on it however due to noticing my mom watching, I had watched 2 and a quarter seasons of 'Angel' first. I remember some years ago I had been in her room while she had an episode on, as I recall there was a hostage situation in a Lorne's club and I had thought it looked interesting. I think this ended up being the last episode I watched before putting it on hold.
I stupidly had not realized that it would contain such specific and involved SLs linking directly to Buffy events. I knew I had to go back and Buffy up and an online friend kind of got on my case about it. That's when I put 'Angel' on hold, I think sometime last year but it still took me until now to start Buffy.

I remember watching Goosebumps one night when I was 7, it finished and then Buffy started; it was the season 1 episode 'Nightmares', I got scared of the clown scene and didn't watch the show again til 7 years later when I was 14. I was looking through the video store for a movie to watch, I couldn't find one I liked so I looked in the TV series section instead. Saw 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' on the shelf, it sounded slightly familiar so I gave it a go and hired the first part of season 1; I was addicted from the very first episode. Still am and the rest is history.

Goosebumps!
The Witch was the episode that hooked me. I was quite young and the theme song scared me, but I loved the episode. I didnt get to watch the lot until years later but I caught it on TV as much as possible after that first ep.

I saw Bargaining when I was 9 or 10. It's possible I'd seen others before that, but I can't recall. I do recall the waking-up-in-a-coffin really freaked me out.

Then when I was 16 I just got this random urge to watch this show I dimly remembered from childhood and my aunt hooked me up with the video tapes (yes, tapes) from the first episode on.

I can remember when Buffy was on BBC2 (UK) and i watched random episodes from Season 2 but i think the first one i saw was Becoming.
I then got the box sets on VHS and started watching them. I got really hooked when Season 5 started and since have probably seen every episode about 100 times.. apart from Amends.. HATE IT!

I think the first episodes I watched were towards the last third of season 6 - I remember bits of the Dark Willow stuff, and asked a friend who was a fan to explain it to me. I was put off by the huge amount of backstory necessary to understand the plot, and gave up on it until just a few years ago, when I watched the whole series on DVD.

I have always and will always love Alyson Hannigan, because of How I Met Your Mother. I wanted to follow her work, so I started with American Pie and found my way to Buffy, to which I fell in love with and watched the entire series in a month-ish..

So, Welcome To The Hellmouth was my first episode

Once more with feeling

First episode I watched was Season 5 Once more with feeling.

I just watched TV with friends and that episode was running at the moment.

I was playing a musical myself at the time with a Theatre group. So I found it very interesting. And I also loved the music, singing , the creativness of it all.

I also thought Dawn was such a cutie.

I wanted to know more about the plot and the characters after that episode.

I also saw Tabula Rasa shortly after that , and that episode is also really fun and creative. After that I just had to watch the show from the begining.

And I remember when I seen all the episodes up to once more with feeling. The musical was very different when I saw it and now knew the characters and the plot haha. 🙂

The first episode I can remember seeing on TV a very long time ago is Prophecy Girl. Basically what I could remember of it was that Buffy was wearing a white dress and there was a monster in the library... I didn't watch it regularly back then, but I caught glimpses of the occasional episode, bits of season three episodes and I remember that I had no idea who Faith was, because sometimes when I watched, she and Buffy seemed friendly, the next time they were fighting. I was never sure if Faith was good or bad at that time 😛 I started watching it from the beginning about a year ago, after some friends had been talking about it and I needed a new show to watch 🙂

I'm proud to say I have watched from the pilot. There was enough from the very start to convince me that this was something worth staying with - I loved it from the off. The quality of writing, the humour, the characters, drama, tragedy - this show has it all. For me, there hasn't been a better show. Ever. As good, maybe, but nothing better.

The first full episode I watched was 'Out of Sight, Out of Mind'. It was during a bullying unit in my Advisory Class during 8th grade. I remember everybody else in the class thought it was terribly cheesy, but I was hooked in by everyone and everything in the episode (especially Angel 😛) I asked my teacher a gazillion questions about it and then the following summer watched it on Netflix. Although, my mom was a longtime fan, and watched it ever since in first aired on WB, so technically I guess you could say I was familiar with it since the womb 😀

I saw WTTH first,a friend of mine kept trying to get me to watch BUFFY on DVD,i didn't really like "genre" shows and the title sounded stupid so i kept saying no. Eventually i gave in and watched season one in order,i was hooked forever more. First episode of ATS i watched was "Sanctuary",i hated Angel on Buffy but after i saw that i was FASCINATED so i decided to give ATS a try. I'm so glad i did 🙂 I pretty quickly fell in love with ATS and before i finished watching all five seasons on DVD it had already become my favorite show ever ,even more than Buffy. 🙂
