First Nathan Fillion Now Amy Acker is Cast For Drive.

I honestly don't get all this stuff about people only watching because of the Whedonverse actors and writers. I mean, this show is so unique how could so many people say that? And then almost everyone seems to have this attitude that it probably won't be very good, but "Hey! I'll watch it for Nathan Fillion."

And I'm not referring to anyone specific here, it's at nearly every board I visit.

Hehe. Well I get it especially if it's a writer. I mean, if you write for a really great show, you are probably (or at least could be) some what responsible for making that show so great. Which means you probably write kind of good, which means there's a chance something else you write for could be good too, right..?
Not saying it's gotta be, but could be, hm.

I actually didn't really mean to say "writers" like that, lol. I mean, it IS Tim Minear, I'd watch any show he created. BUT if I saw a show that looked really, really crappy and Tim Minear was like, a consulting producer, I wouldn't go and watch it then just because of that, ya know? And I always tend to give more credit to the writers anyway. 🙂

BUT when a show comes out that is unique (like Drive is very unique for a TV show), that usually gets my interest and I'll watch at least one episode.

Heh well I wouldn't watch something that seemed really bad just 'cause of a writer. But there's definitely a bigger chance I'd give it a chance, for the reasons I mentioned above, and I don't think there's anything weird about that 🙂
