Actually, I love this ep. I love Faith and Angels fight scene. I love everything about Faith. Mainly because shes different from Buffy. Buffy is all goody goody and friends when faith is opposite. Never really had friends but in a way she did until she turned on Buffy..........
 
Yeah I totally see why she turned evil. She got no respect and outshined by Buffy 'cause everything was about Buffy! She never got any attention 'til she went bad!

But I think she subconsciencesly(sp?) tried to be the center of Sunnydale and Buffy wasn't having none of that (due to the only child thing), thus rivalry ensued and she really did need a father figure and the mayor provided it.
 
I love this episode Five by Five. Its one of my favourites out of Season One. Eliza does an excellent job as Faith in this episode and its a really good follow on from the Buffy episode. She was back to being her usual 'Nothing can hurt me, I'm as tough as nails' act and it was so good to see her break down at the end.

The fight scene between Angel and Faith was amazing. I think the fight scenes between Buffy, Angel and Faith always are because they are so well matched.

It was the beginning of a really suprising two part episode. The second episode 'Sanctuary' was just as good.
 
This episode is the Angel episode I have watched over and over and over and have felt such a huge emotional connection over and over and over. This is THE Angel episode that should get and keep any potential fans.
 
As everybody's said, it's an excellent episode. Faith's torture of Wesley, the Faith VS Angel fight scene and Faith's breakdown are some great moments.

i like faith alot to she a good slayer and she kicks ass big time and i love her i like the way she dresses and its cool to have her on buffy and angel
 
I really liked "Five By Five" it was great the way the tied in both Buffy and Angel for Eliza's return. I was a big fan of the way she came back.

I esspecially liked how she went from torturing everyone, to breaking down and just. . . not wanting to be herself anymore. It gave her layers.

But yup, "Sanctuary" was great, too. It was very. . . angsty. And it often makes me cringe when they get to that very unpleasant Buffy/Angel/Faith fight, lol.
 
Great episode, from Faith dancing, to slashing Wes to fighting Angel, all good as they say.

I love this episode, brilliant fight scenes and and you get to learn more about Faith, as someone else said, you get to see that she has layers and that her big tough girl act is just that - an act.

I loved this episde too and epsecially the torture scenes, im not sick or sadistic or anything though and the fight scenes where amazing!!!!!!!!
 
I watched this episode for the first time yesterday (and I cried so much).. have been waiting for it ever since I became a Faith fan.. and I loved it. Now, I'm no fan of those looking-back-at-what-happened-long-ago scenes.. Don't get me wrong, it's interesting to know how it happened, I just think those scenes/episodes often aren't the best.. So what I loved about this episode were the Faith things. And of course, the fight between Faith and Angel, ending with Faith crying begging Angel to kill her.. I had heard about this scene many times (that was the real reason I wanted to see this episode), and it wasn't at all like I had pictured it, but I loved it (and like I said, it made me feel so many things). (Now I can't wait to finally be able to see Sanctuary tomorrow night.)

Oh, how I envy the joy of seeing that scene for the first time... 😀

Re: Fangel - that would just wierd me out. He's more of a big brother figure. She owes him too much for them to have any kind of healthy relationship.
