Five to screen UK Buffy re-runs

It would seem that Five have acquired the UK terrestrial re-run rights to Buffy from BBC2.

Five are to show Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

Starting this Saturday, 19 March at 6.40pm Five will be screening Buffy from the start.

See how Buffy arrived in Sunnydale and met Willow, Xander and Giles in Welcome to The Hellmouth.

I never understood that, how do they expect to get viewers with a timeslot like that!

Thats great news for Buffy fans, here is hoping they treat it much better than BBC 2 did taking it off for the snooker all the time. Channel 5 really has come a long way from when it first started, and its the terrestrial channel I mostly watch with it showing CSI, Law & Order and documentaries of that sort.

After the way they treated Angel? The good thing about Five putting it on so late (the only good thing) is that its not cut.

Yeh but they could show it uncut a 9 or 10. 1.00am is ridiculously late, I always had to record it
