Anyone got thoughts on the new ABC series?

Here's mine: GREAT pilot...one of the best I've seen. It explained the premise in a good way. As for the series itself...it ought to be good, but I have to wonder...are all the flash forwards set in stone? If it is, there's no show to watch. Who wants to see a show where everything is known in advance?

I haven't seen the pilot, but flashforwards can work. LOST handled it just fine in season four. The journey from one place to another is its own reward.

I'm looking for a new show to fill the Battlestar Galactica-shaped void in my heart, so I might just give this a go.

I've seen a couple eps of it, I do like it so far but I hate waiting too long for answers. I lost interest in Lost after the second season so I hope this show isnt so twisty turny cos I cant be bothered thinking too much lol. Anyway what was with the kangaroo in the street? And I heard someone say that 2.17 is a passage in the bible somewhere about prophicies and dreams but that could have been made up, I cant find a bible to check. I want to know what the little girl saw aswell and if Noh is going to avoid his death.

Ooh i watched the pilot last week on tv.

I had never heard of it before, my mum shouted me down to watch it, ha she knows me to well.

It a good idea for a show 🙂

The characters are all a little bland so far compared to Lost, but the pilot was fun. Apparently
there's gonna be a new flash at the end of the season"”and each season thereafter"”to screw things up, keep the drama going.
Sounds pretty formulaic, but maybe it'll work.

I haven't seen it yet, although I am a little bit interested. This seems like the kind of show that I'd have to watch on DVD though, as I'm very impatient and the wait isn't always worth it for me (for something like Dollhouse, or LOST, 24, etc, the "wait" from week to week is fun; other shows it just gets annoying). The premise though really interests me. It's the kind of "what if" situation that I like thinking about anyways, and I'd be very keen on seeing how these characters deal with that situation.

Anyway my new show quota is a bit filled up for the time being. Who knows though, I might end up watching it if I get a nice jump ahead on my school work.

I've seen all 9 episodes. Is a fantastic serie..My favorite character is Tracy (Daughter of Aaron) she's cutie also 😉
I hope she will play on all seasons of Flash Forward.

Am i the only who's looking Flash Forwards?

When I started watching this, I was a little dissapointed with how slow the storyline was moving. But once I started watching week after week, it's become one of my favourite shows out there. I love how many characters they can focus on, and things just always seem to be getting more interesting! I love the cast too, some really strong, kind of long forgotten faces among them. It's a very mind-bending show sometimes, I'm really enjoying it so far. Definitely recommend you tune if and give it a shot, if you haven't already 🙂

FlashForward is pretty much my new Lost, which im going to need when season 6 is over and I am mourning. It's fantastic and kind of makes me want to read the book, except I figure that would ruin a few key points. And hey, Gina Torres (Zoey, Jasmine) is in it as the head FBI dudes wife. She was in one episode, but I assume they will have her again as she had the FlashForward about the little boy becoming her adopted son. I'm sure they will expand on that sooner or later. AND it's got a few Lost actors in it as well so I can't complain!

I've got about 5 episodes in(thank you, Hulu!), and while the concept is still good and servicable, it's getting WAY too talky for my tastes.

OK...we get that one character's now going to drink again, etc. Now how about showing that you're a good series, instead of just coasting on the concept?

This is a show I got drawn into and now really like- even if the storylines are so confusing that while I can keep up with them while watching them, I can no way in hell repeat them to anyone once the episode has ended. I'm just like 'you, erm, need to watch it....'. But this show has a lot of promise and I love how now their showing more of the whys and also how the flashforwards aren't set in stone so a lot more guesswork from the audience is required. 🙂
