Flaws: Ages in the Buffy/Angelverse

I've always wanted to post a thread like this. I don't know if it's already been done, but...

In 'I Robot, You Jane', Buffy's identification file said she was born on October 24, 1980. Later in the ep, it reads May 6, 1979. Hmm. The Buffy birthday episodes usually air around January. In 'Doomed', she says she was a Capricorn, on the cusp of Aquarius, which would place her birthday in late January.

In BUFFY S2, Angel is 240 at the beginning of 'SAR', but at the end of this episode, he's 242. It's a fact that he was born in 1727 and sired in 1753. That S2 ep was in 1997, so he would have been on this earth for 270 years and would have been a vamp for 244 years. And now he's 276 and 250 years old, not including the years he spent in a hell dimension. But in ANGEL S1(1999), Cordy calls him a 241-year-old.

Spike says he is 126 in 'The Initiative,' which aired in 1999. This means he would've been sired in 1873, but in 'Fool for Love', he's sired in 1880, making him 119 in 1999 in vampire years and 123 now, but Giles said he was 200 in 'School Hard' (1997).

I think too much.
 
Thanks for giving us the whole number deal. I'm always to lazy to check back on what dates Angel and Spike are born.

I think in interviews, Joss just says that they're not good at math on the show - what an excuse!
 
I know,i noticed the thing bout Buffy's birthday and got totally confused
 
lol.....But that Buffy birthday thing is really annoying me now.....arhhhh
 
Well, the second bday flaw in 'I Robot, You Jane' would mean that Buffy was a senior, not a sophmore in S1, just like the Buffy in the 1992 movie. Someone's messing around...
 
I heard that if your obsesed with math that your super smart and that alieans are trying to take over your brain. But government officials are trying to fight them. Th conflict makes you smart and with full control over your thoughts. Just what I've heard though. Hold on theres someone knocking on the door.....

Why is it that the other members of the Scoobies and Team Angel never have there birthdays celebrated(excluding Cordy)?
 
i dunno...ermmmm,that is weird..im gonna go raid my vids and check to see if there are any birthdays apart from buffy's.
 
I was always wondering, how old is Charles Gunn supposed to be? I figure he's a bit older than Buffy, Willow and Xander, but not as old as Wood and Wes. So like late 20's?
 
Does anybody know how old Dawn, Buffy, Willow, Xander and Kennedy are at the end of Chosen?
 
Dawn can't have possibly been 16 at the end of Chosen, can she?
