Late to the party...
Maybe too personal and not really appropiate. But I'm an honest person so here it is. Be it edited or not.
When I joined BB I was at a bad time of my life, during my time here I've been through the worst time of my life.* I'm 37 now so I've been through some ups and downs. BB, online life and the people here was pretty much what could take away the depression for a while. Sometimes not even that. So all in all what happened here had a bigger impact than what would have been preferable.
Which is why this thread,
Great Members Pt. 2, and others like it still give me fuzzy, warm feelings.
(If you read it, I was then The Kinslayer.)
Most of all I'll always be thankful for meeting Bluebird. It didn't start out as anything special at all, but before you know it, we're up all night talking and soon we spent an unhealthy amound chatting (as friends) before the finally met up. Something I never thought I'd do. As most relationships it didn't last forever. Besides the problem I struggled with myself, I couldn't give her what she deserved so it ended. Understandable but heartbreaking at the time. But no matter what, she's given me the most joy and relaxed moments of my life. She'll always have a place in my heart and I wish her all the best.
Also, getting into VH. I could never imagine how amazing that would be. Not that it was the dorm I first wished to join... Sometimes you have more luck than you deserve.
* Important to point out. Allthough I was severly depressed and had nothing against dying at my lowest point I'd never, ever commit suicide.
