Are you Vegetarian or a meat lover?
Im in between, i like both but would like it if i could quit meat for good.
Are you the type to (kinda) look down on a vegetarian. Cos i know a few people like that.
What about it being law that restaurants have to have a veggie option?

I love meat, but try to stick to more leaner meats, like chicken and fish. I very rarely fry anything, either; I like to bake, broil, or grill my meat.
I do love fruits and vegetables though... I could be a vegetarian if I had to be, 'cause it doesn't bother me to eat salad all the time!

I am not a vegetarian, but I was for 4 years when I was younger. So I know what it's like and why you might make that choice, and I don't look down on people for it. It's a personal choice! But like I said, I'm not now and I eat plenty of meat. My friends joke about it because I never really used to eat meat, became a veggie for 4 years, now I love it 😛 So they call me the world's worst veggie!

I'm a meat eater for half of the time and vegetarian when I'm at uni. Meat is expensive and I can go without it quite easily, but nothing beats a nice bacon sandwich when I come home.

I've been an almost exclusive meat and potatoes eater all of my life, just like everyone else in my family and just about everyone I know. My doctor now, however, is telling me that I hace to "eat many more vegetable products and much less animal products."

I guess I'll have to start ordering the Whopper JUNIOR, with no cheese, and the large french fries from now on.

Whopper junior lol
Well I grew up in a big meat eating family, then I just lost the taste for it so I was a vegetarian for nearly a decade, and then I got the taste for it back so now I'm a big meat eater again. I just ty to listen to my body and what makes it feel good, right now that is meat but I'm not ruling out a life without it or a limited intake in the future... you never know. 🙂

I love meat, a lot, but if I had to stop eating it, it'd be okay (I'd still have potatoes, rice and pasta 🙂)

I have a funny relationship with meat.... when I was 4 I found out where it came from and was horrified.... so off and on throughout my life I've tried to be vegetarian, but when it comes down to it, and I get really honest with myself.... my body needs meat. I thrive much better with meat (lots) in my diet.... so I eat it and I love it....I just pretend it doesn't come from animals. I can't eat anything that looks like the animal it is, so for example, everything has to be cut up into little pieces that don't resemble it's former form.

told ya, funny relationship.

I put vegetarian but actually I'm vegan, since a few years back and I took break from it last summer when I was on vacation but it didn't last long cos I felt awful, I was disgusted with myself so I went back to it. but I'm not a maniac about it, it doesn't bother me that others eat animals - I just don't for myself, I feel better staying away from it.

Vegan karma!!!
I love meat! 🙂
But I usually don't eat cute animals like rabbits or lambs and stuff. I kinda feel sorry for them. I don't know 🙁
I also don't like the taste of some, like deer, for example.

I think every meat eater should see exactly how the meat is put on the plate. From cute baby cow to tasty veal etc. Or baby carrot to tasty carrot.

I eat meat, but if I could do it without my husband complaining or looking at me funny, I would become a pescatarian. For me it's not so much about killing animals, but about my health and my overall concern for my weight.

I don't look down on people who choose not to eat meat. It's a personal choice same as any other. As long as you aren't a cannibal, you're okay in my books.

I do eat meat but not really sure I'd say it's my preference. I doubt I'd become a vegetarian on my own but I'm sure I could with some help if that was what I wanted.

Why would one look down on a vegetarian? Because they think it's moraly better not to eat meat?

I thought it was more common that vegetarians looked down on meat eaters. Which I get in a way. I just don't like it when they take it too far.

I didn't know about a law like that. I just thought the increase of veggie options were because it was good business.

Its something ive been hearing for years, like over a decade. Some people have a bit of a problem with vegetarians, kinda a 'why dont you just eat meat' attitude.
I think every meat eater should see exactly how the meat is put on the plate. From cute baby cow to tasty veal etc. Or baby carrot to tasty carrot.

I'll take you one further than that. Go out with a gun, stalk the game, shoot it, bring it home, and butcher it yourself. I grew up in a family of hunters. If I can enjoy a fresh slab of Bambi with all the trimmings, I can sure watch veal being prepared. Make mine well done with a large baked potato, butter and sour cream a'plenty. But hold the salad. I've gotta start watching my weight.

I have big respect for hunters. They are usually the ones that have massive respect for nature.

The staff at my cafe seem to find them annoying. A vegan came in recently, and asked for the veggie option, and the waiter said to us ''pffft, what an idiot, expecting special treatment, what a pain in the ass'' and i've heard this quite alot. Not that i agree though.

Thankfully I've never experienced that. Sounds to me that the staff have an attitude problem or something. But what do I know.
I'm a pescetarian...so the only meat I eat, is fish 🙂. I don't miss the taste of meat really, I never ate ribs or steak so I'm not missing much haha. I do sometimes feel like I'm missing out on new foods sometimes 🙁 but oh well. I choose not to eat meat for health reasons. Yes, I love animals but.....PETA sucks.

I couldn't remember if it was spelled with and A or an E. The diet itself is so appealing. How does your family feel about it? Cause I know my husband would hate it.
I'm not a big meat eater, but I do enjoy an occasional steak. I also like trying different types of meat when I go to a nice restaurant like rabbit, duck or venison. I do appreciate when restaurants do have plenty of veggie options for their customers.

I really enjoy veggies and grains so I don't think I would have a hard time giving up meat; however, giving up cheese and eggs would be a challenge for me.

What a person decides to eat doesn't make me view them differently; I would never look down on someone for what they ate, unless they were eating humans.
