I'm missing a few people. Come on!


Since I'm a bit busy until sunday this has to be my team for the moment. I wonder how much time I'll spend thinking about all the changes I should to until saturday. 😉 And yes, didn't end up an anti-United team. I came to the conclusion that if I don't have any Unitedplayers they'll play great. Lets see how it'll all go.

Yep having Fabregas as a captain/player helped a lot. Hopefully he won't produce as well in every game. Silly Everton. My team didn't do too great. For one thing the two players getting most points are reserves so their points I didn't get. On the plus side at least every player got some points and that's a start. Now I need more points for tuesday and wednesday. Can't be too far behind after just one week...


Came home in time to see Gerrard score the penalty but apart from that the only good thing was to see that Ayala didn't play too bad. Which of course might be because of Tottenham being more intrested in defending their lead than attack a lot. Looked a lot like the start last year with the exceptions of us not winning of course. Takes too long for this team to get into gear and this time we were punished for it and deservingly so.

The problems with centerbacks have made us being linked to some new ones. Turner from Hull and and Shawcross from Stoke seemingly on top of the list. But it wouldn't surprise me if we don't buy anyone. Hull seems to linked with Negrado and if they manage to get him it'll be interesting. Not sure how he would adapt but he got potential for sure.
 
you were lucky with fabregas... i couldn't choose between him and gerrard, i went with the wrong one 🙁...
But im happy with my points anyway, 58 and (joint) second is just the beginning 😛
 
This is just peachy, 3 of my players are injured! One expected back this month, the other next month and the last back Next February!!!
ARGH!! Not cool!! *sulks*

Oh, but Liverpool losing their first game is just brilliant! 😀

You only got him as a sub but if you won't make any changes in your team to the next round you migh want to take out Alonso since he won't play a game for Liverpool this season. 😉


And normally Aly I'd feel sorry for you but not when you make comments like that. And remember how many points United had last season in the beginning? Was it 5 after 4 games or 4 after 5 games?

I haven't got him as a sub, he's my captain. Always has been! ::huh1::

Thanks for reminding me about Alonso! Memory like a sieve..... lol
 
What's wrong with Chelsea?

I'm not complaining about the fact that they're winning even if it would be nice if they didn't. But what about letting goals in. Here I get the keeper to my team that should keep a lot of clean sheets and they let both Hull and Sunderland score. How am I supposed to get any points. 😉 And I'm totally ignoring the fact that both goals have come from lucky bounces that no team can protect themselves from. If they let in goals can they at least stay away from winning so I have something to be happy about?

And just to make a lot of people happy. Liverpool won't win tonight. With the day I'm having it's impossible. Unless somehow the second part of the day gets way, way, WAY better.



I'm thinking this had been beter suited in the vent thread.

More good news for the ones not liking Liverpool. Rumours are now flying around that Benitez is tired of the treatment by the owners and will leave the club. By choice so it's not like he's getting sacked. But since nothing is official yet we can just wait and see. Maybe it's a way for Benitez to show that he's serious and that he won't allow to get treated the way he gets. But one thing's for sure. It's not a club in harmony.
 
Just had to pop in and say LOL at ManU for their 1-0 upset loss to Burnley.
Sidenote: My fantasy team do so well because of it...

He he. Maybe I should. The results could have been worse for sure. And not only that but other things went a little better the second half of the day, or final 5th to be more exact.

That was a good result for sure. But I get tired of people (I don't mean you but a lot of people onother boards) saying "Look how bad United are. They'll never win the league." It's one game... I'm happy they lost but that's about it. There's two times you can gloat a little. At the end of a season or after a cup final if you've managed to win anything or if you beat the team in question. Otherwise it should just be a little teasing at most.


In the fantasy league it now got a bit weird since not all teams played but since you got points for your subs it seems like you won't get any points when the team finally plays these matches. So if you were unlucky you missed out on quite a few points. So I don't see my raise to 4th place as a big deal. I had 9 players that played. But it'll be interesting to see how things are after the weekend.
 
i've got a feeling this is going to be a good league... i've got a plan that on-going Andy Johnston's injured so i took A Young out and S Hunt in giving me 3.4 to play with next week when i replace Johnston 🙂
