Celtic fan here. Things are lookin good for us. But about man u, they are worse off without Ronaldo, but still have great players. No one like Ronaldos level.

It's C*ltic. you have to censor swear words.
They will still go well next year, and now they'll be a team instead of ronaldo hogging it the whole time.

I really want arsenal to win next year, i love the way they play and i think they deserve it due to how long they've spent building up their young players.

They've also got some insanely talented individuals like van persie 😀

For nearer the time the season starts, would anyone be interested in doing one of those online fantasy football thingys? We could start up a BuffyBoard league. I've done it before with friends, it's pretty good.

I'm up for it, I did the Sun Fantasy Football this past season, but my team selections sucked big time!.

I'd be well up for that. my whole family used to do one with my Dad's work every season. And I'm old enough and knowledgeable enough now to pick my own team (sw)

It's a bit early. You have to wait a few months. 😉 And I'm sure CotA can manage it himself if just enough people are interested. But you can always fight over it. And I could be interested. Lets see how it feels then the time comes.

I thought it was only chairs. And as far as I know there's not many chairs involved in fantasy football. But that maybe shows how little I know (both about chairs in fantasy football or how many things he got a problem with.).

Oh, CotA has problems with many, many things.
I'd totally be up for a Fantasy League thingy, me and my dad did one a couple of years back, we did ok, finished about 431 out of nearly 50'000...i was proud 😛

But i'll do better this time as my dad won't be involved, he normally just chose chelsea players, silly silly man!

Glen Johnson has singed for liverpool
Santa Cruz is now at man city
Chelsea target Maicon
And its heavily expected that tevez will join man city but not confirmed.

Probably signed for an obscene amount of money i bet.
I don't understand Man City, how are they going to please Robinho, Caicedo, Bellamy, Santa Cruz and Tevez? They can't play them all.... ....can they?
 
I like football. But like any other sport, really, mainly just to watch it. Don't ask me anything about what happens behind the scenes, who plays for which team, like that. Because I wouldn't know. Therefore, I don't really support any team, I just support the team that plays well. I do have a favourite team, though; I really like AZ, and luckily for me, they won the Dutch league this year (which, it must be said, isn't really an accomplishment.) It's a shame that Louis van Gaal left, cos he was a good coach.

Manchester City don't have patience. So every chance they get to buy a better player they'll take it. Not thinking about the good of the team. So even if they have 4 forwards to begin with and they buy another 4 this summer if they get the chance to sign a better one in january they'll jump on the chance. The day they start using their money to make a team and have patience they can become a real threat. For now they're more about looking good than have a strong ground to stand on.

Man city will just buy anyone but who can blame them they have billions to spend. They also feel a huge pressure to get going quick. They want to get into Europe and a big squad of quality players will give them a great chance.

It's not really a squad though if they are all forwards. They need to buy in every position, not just up front.

Not that I have really any problem with City buying stupidly...actually it gives a great sense of well being 😀

Yeah they will just give them time.

I believe you could be a serious contender for a top 4 finish with in three years.
 
Man city may as well spend their billions. If they have all the good players it means other teams dont have these good players. I dont like any of the manchester teams but it'l be funny if City takes over Utd.

Yeah it would be ace if city got better than utd but it will never happen. Utd have money world class players a brilliant youth team and a huge fan base.

I feel dirty for now supporting man u in a discussion * goes for bath*
 
West Ham and England fan here...disappointment is my normal state 😉 It's a little sad but I'm ecstatic about mid-table mediocrity 🙂
