We have two kinds of season...(1)terrible, terrible, terrible, you useless bunch of w*nk*rs...oh no we're gonna go down! phew!/oh b*ll*cks! and (2)mid-table mediocrity 🙂 And every year, at the start of each season, there's the same naive belief that we'll do really well...and then all our star signings turn out to be injury-prone deadbeats...sigh...and relax 🙂

@dancing man: man u don't have money. They are 700 mill in debt. They dont deserve they're glory 🙂
I would think they deserve it even more considering that we don't have a pot of gold to be dipping into whenever it takes our fancy and have managed to create such success for the club.
Money doesn't equal glory...our trophy cabinet proves that.

What?? They are almost a billion in debt! Theres no pot of gold but still spend 30 mil on Rooney and Berbatov etc even though they dont have money! Tbh i dont blame Utd though, its not like i'd care if Celtic put themselves in debt to get a great player. Its definatly not fair game though. If teams like Man u and Real get the best players with fake money then most other teams dont stand a chance

Man u deserve every trophy they have ever won they have a great balance between world class players and a great overall team. Also Fergy is quite possibly the best manager ever.

I didn't even know games were being played. Was it a friendly? Im not 'too' shocked, usa really should be great at fitba. Spain are of course overrated 🙂

Just finished watching the semi final between Sweden and England in the under 21 chamionships. Quite a game. England up 3-0 at half time all goals from corners but Sweden made it 3-3 before the end so on to extra time. Sweden had to play 30 minutes with an injured forward as left back and England got a forward sent off and even though sweden hit the bar it's on to penalties. And everyone knows how good England are at penalties right? 😉 England missed the first one then Milner slipped (remember Beckham?) and sent the ball well wide. Then Hart saved the penalty from Swedens leading goalscorer (7 goals in 4 games) and it didn't end until Sweden's 6th penalty hit the post. So England to the final. 🙁 There they have to be without their goalkeeper since he got booked during the penalty shoot out... But at least they won a penalty shoot out for once so I guess they're pretty happy after all.

Over rated is a matter of opinion but if that's so that is yours. But they got a bit more than Torres in their team (not like he's bad). A lot of players from the CL-winners, one of the best goalkeepers in the world and quite a decent right back to put it lightly and David Villa is a goalscorer most teams would want.

Yes.
Did he play well? Not really. Did a few good things (big shock it was a few runs. 😉) but honestly, in this game at least he's shooting/finishing didn't impress anyone. I don't think he as been motivated enough. England would probably have been better off without him. And still they are in the final... Guess he now have one game to prove how good he is.

Anyone about to watch CC final? I think USA are about to get a beating but if they can beat Spain, who knows! I want USA to win seeing as they the underdogs here.

Owen for Man u! Bloody hell. Thats suprising, and not just cos Owen played for Liverpool, but cos he's way past it. Owens not had a good season in years ha ha, can't see this working out well for Man u. Good one Alex.
