For That

I was working for company called Unwins (wine merchants), doing about 70/80 hours weeks. I was exhausted and traumatised when the end happened. In fact I cried most of the way through. It was an end of an era and very emotional. First time I've ever cried about a show was in BTVS and Angel.

Did you mayhap bring your work home with you? Were you crying more because it was the end of an era or crying because of what was actually happening on the screen?

Obviously I bought plenty of work home with me lol... i cried for both reasons mostly during for what was happening on screen and at the end, because it was the end.

For me it always kicks in the week after. Like 'oh it's Buffy time' thats right, its over. My reactions are usually delayed.

Wasn't watching Buffy at the time so it had no effect on me because I didn't know it was happening😀 I've only started watching the show about five years ago, and although I've seen all of it and many episodes a lot, it has such great re-value and still feels so fresh then missing it just hasn't been an option yet.

As for what I was doing then? Can't remember think I was unemployed at the time, but did go to lots of fun gigs and stuff, man it does feel like a life time ago....

Maybe we could start with: where were you when Buffy ended? What were you doing?

I followed pretty much all the seasons when they aired on french TV.
I was in a circus school (yeah really) as a kid and it starting to get in the way of me watching TV because we had rehearsals 3 times a week, so I didn't really watch season 6 and 7, I could only grab one episode this and there.
We had our end of year show the night they aired the very last episode, and when I saw on the program that Buffy was over I was so upset that my mom bought me all the VHS and I watched them 3 times over the summer.....

@Mr. Pole Yeah nothing fancy, just a club outside of school, but it was pretty fun!

Sounds like a great summer! You can't beat a good VHS😛

As already expressed to @Mr. Pole I was finishing my senior year of high school. Specifically, I watched the finale with one of my best friends who I had often watched BtVS with. We made popcorn and the whole thing. Then lamented on how S7 just did not do the show justice as a last season.

Which was more traumatic- the fact you were disappointed in S7 or the fact you couldn't put on a OMWF High School play?
