Just had a pedicure done today at Bodyatone where I live... Thought i'd share the picture of the nail art (it was a practise run) ... Have you had any nail art done (by yourself or someone else)? And do you have pictures? I'm off to fine BTVS metal stamp sheets now lol 🙂

I love love love nail art. When I was working as a travel agent I was always messing around with different nail art but now I'm back in the hospo field it makes it too difficult.

I have always been the type to chip my nails within the first couple of days but working in hospo means I chip my nails within the first couple of minutes even if I manage to go a week or so without breaking a nail.

I hated doing nail art.. either the pieces were too big or they were too small, and then the got 'filed' off... maybe I just went with the cheapo stuff and more expensive would have been better but I was not impressed.

I never did nail art myself.
In fact, I've only painted mine about 3 or 4 times in my life because I only stopped biting them a few months back and have yet to find a chance to put polish on them (hoping that polish might strengthen them).

Anyways, I like the nail art 🙂

Pretty Nix!!

I like nail art but typically don't go for it. I have been going through a glitter nail polish faze the last few months. 🙂

Yeah, removing it is a pain in the ass. I just can't resist the sparkle! :)

Have you tried the tinfoil trick? Small amount of a cotton wool ball soaked in remover, then cover your finger tips with tinfoil, leave on for 15 minutes or so and it should just slide right off. It isn't perfect, but it's the best way I found of removing it.

^ yup that is the best way for sure. Using 100% pure acetone also helps but it does make your hands pretty dry.

I was never able to get my hands (or fingernails, if you wish) on pure acetone even though I did look around for it.

Would have been mightily helpful!

You can get acetone at any of the big box building materials stores like Home Depot. I don't know if they have anything equivalent to that where you are. Also automotive stores (like Canadian Tire here) and fibreglass stores carry it. And it is a lot cheaper to buy as straight acetone than as nail polish remover.

Yeah, I would say somewhere like Bunnings in Australia would be the equivalent. I didn't think of it at the time though!
