I got this from a nother board and I thought I would share it. But I DID NOT write this.....Im not sure who did! It's touching so read it and tell me if you would do the same thing for the person you love.

A girl and a guy(bf and gf) were riding a motorcycle.

Girl: "Slow down a little...I'm scared..."
Guy: "No, this is so much fun."
Girl: "No, it's not. Please, it's too scary."
Guy: "Then tell me that you love me."
Girl: "Fine...I love you, now can you slow down?"
Guy: "Now give me a BIIIIIIG hug..."
Girl gives him a big hug.
Guy: "Hey, can you take my helmet off and put it on? It's bugging me while I'm driving..."

The next day there was a story in the newspaper.
A motorcycle had crashed into the side of a building because the brakes were shot. There were two people on that motorcycle, but only one had survived.

Halfway down the road, the guy realized that his
brakes were broken, but he didn't want to let
the girl know or else she would have been scared.
Instead, he had her say she loved him one last time and felt her hug one last time, then had her wear his helmet so that she would live even though it meant that he would die.


*WAHHHHH* ::crying::

Would you do the same for the one you love??
 
Why didn't they just jump off the motorcycle...?

I'd die for the person I love. My life doesn't matter much to me anyway.
 
not when you put logic into it you have like a 50/50 chance of living if you jump off at least, and i would not die for a boyfriend the only people i think you should die for is your children-IMO
 
I'd TOTALLY die for the person i love i mean i'm still wishing that i would have died instead of him cause he was perfect and an all around good guy but he had to die when me the biggest B*tch in the world is still around but yeah i wish i could have died instead of him and if i ever fall in love agian, I'd die for him too
 
I'd say yes, because I think truly loving someone, means you'll die for them.
 
The one I love...I would most definately die for. To let him die would upset the balance between good and evil...😛
 
Yeah, I most definitely would. Though I don't like the motorcycle-story, I'd rather have some heroic world-saving thing à  la Spike-in-Chosen.

Yes, I would most definitely die for my husband. Both of us say it, and unfortunately both of us have had the chance to prove it. Thankfully, we both survived, but I would do it again in a heartbeat. He is a much kinder gentler person than I am 🙂
 
I would totally die for someone that I was in love with. I think it's the least selfish thing that someone can possibly do for someone that they care about. ::nopity::

I'm sure I would. It's hard saying a lot of these things now. But it's also harder, in my opinion, to be the survivor. There the ones that go through hell. Theres reasons I would and ones I wouldnt. Death is probably more pleasent then surviving afterall.
 
Michelle nailed it cold...survivor guilt...now that's hell. As for the question, there really isn't one. I'd give it up in a second for Mrs. Dwarf and/or either of the little dwarves. No hesitation.
 
I'm not just saying this but i think i would do the same thing! In that situation I would rather die than live with the fact that I'd killed the person i love! And in any other situation (can't think of any just now) I would rather I died than him!
 
I so agree with you Michelle. It's kinda egoistic maybe, but meanwhile, it's a proof of real & strong love.
The story was very touching.
& I'd die not only for the one I love but for the ones I care.
I'd give my life 1000 of time if it could make someone I care about just a lil happier.
