I'd dye for the one I love. Just like all you others I would rather did then live with the fact the one I lvoe didn't. Plus when your dead, it's over. When u live, u would have to live with it for ages!

Absolutely without a doubt I would die for my husband.

In fact, one of my biggest fears is outliving him. 🙁

Die for the one I love? I most certainly would!
My lady is the greatest, if not the ONLY love of my life. She is in fact, the saviour of my soul.
Nobody or no THING is going to harm her, not on MY watch.

And if I have to sacrifice my life so that she may live.....then so be it....that's what I'll do.

Virtue and self-interest, working together, could be either one. oo (Just learning bout this in my American Heritage class) 😉

You'll all probably hate me for saying this...

I haven't met anyone that I loved soo much that I could die for him..I think jumping off would be a good way..For now as egoistic as it may sound I wouldn't want to die...

I know what you mean... It would be a terrible thing to be a widow! I'm not married but I can't stand to be away from my boyfriend... so the thought of not having the choice of whether i see him again is unbearable. I don't know how my Grandma copes!

Oh... that brings a tear to my eye! That is so sweet! *sobs*
I hope my boyfriend feels the same way about me! That is so touching!

ana8, that's not anything to hate you for. You mentioned in another thread what your age was, and that kinda explains your thoughts on the matter. I envy you a bit, because when you do find that person, you'll feel a sense of contentment that just can't be duplicated, and feeling it for the first time is bloody fabulous! And I don't think anyone on this thread is in a hurry to die for anyone...we'd all try to avoid it!! I'm gonna take a stand here and say that dying before your time is a crappy thing, and should be avoided if possible!

Old Master 2.0-Wow, man, you so rock!! That was an amazing testimonial! Show Mrs. Master and you'll get muchas smoochies! And they say that guys aren't in touch with their feelings...

I would die for the person I love.. You know that they feel the same way, and you both know that no matter what the outcome of it all is, one of you is there to look out for the other......you know who your guardian angel is.....

That is how I feel anyway.....

lol...even with a helmet...you can easily die if riding a bike....both of them should've died...good story though...

yo jackie...yall had to prove this already??...can you tell us if its aight...seems hella interesting...

oldie...show her that...and you'll be getting more than kisses my friend...but i don't think thats a problem for you my friend...

cool thread LA...cheers...

My hubby's cousin was a paranoid schizophrenic who happened to think that I was the root of all evil, and as such, he wanted me dead-he also, reluctantly, thought that my hubby had to die as long as as he continued to associate with me. He was my husbands roomate (before we got married), and when he had his breakdown, I was on Easter Vacay from school and had planned to spend the whole week with them at their place. (This incident was his initial breakdown-it was how we found out that he was a paranoid schizophrenic). His cousin had only implied violent action directly afterward, at which point my husband told me to go back home to my mother while he handled it (snuck to another room and called 911 to get the man psychiatric help). I refused to leave him alone with a nutcase and the cousin had the house on lockdown. So the two of us worked together to alternately distract him so we could make the proper phone calls to get him put in the hospital. In those times, we both risked our lives a fair share of times with a raging psycho. But thankfully, all turned out well for the most part....Nobody got hurt, and he got placed into a hospital where he got the help he needed-he's been released since then and is on medication. I just occasionally get scared that one day he'll forget to take his meds 🙁

oh yeah....that dude...i hope he's well now...damn...if that don't make you stronger relationship wise...then i don't know what will...

you know...for me...the gasm...dieing for someone doesn't mean you love'em...i'd die for a complete stranger...bonus points if it's a gurl...and bonus if she's hot...but for me...to open up...is the way to show his love...

To tell you the truth I'm not sure...I mean I really have no idea if I would die for the person I loved. I guess it depends on the situation. I probably would die for my parents, but I wouldn't die for a friend, cousin or other related person. Even my girlfriend, I value my own life above theirs as selfish and maybe lowly as it may sound.

Alceste by Euripides.
Isn't all of that just a talk??
Honestly, Alceste accept to die for her hubby, it's amazing, but would we really do the same?
I mean, as long as you're alive, you say yes, but if you had to face it, will you still do what you said.
For my concern, I think that I would, so far, I'm convinced I would die, coz there wouldn't be anything worst for me to lose someone I love knowing that I could have saved them. But I never know, maybe in the end I would just be a coward?
Gosh, I just hope not!!!

most hella true frenchy...none of us know what be our responses in those pressure filled situations...but...i think most people around here live by what they say and believe...pretty sincere core we got here..

lol..raz...my man...great answer....an honest man we got here...

I'm not sure. I'm still young so I haven't felt that love for another person yet. I'd die for my brother, mum and dad in a heartbeat. One thing I dread most in life is the people I love dieing. I don't actually fear death for myself. It's just a part of life. But when it comes to other people thats a different story. Hell I'd be heatbroken if anything happened to my cat.

Absolutely.. No doubt about it!! I would lay my life down in a second for my husband and my children. It's not that their lives mean more than mine, I just could not continue without them with me.

erm...im not sure...cause id want to live but then id want them to live..that wud b a hard choice...
