Just remembered something interesting: I think it is safe to say that Mr. Joss Whedon, like the rest of us "sickos" has also considered (however briefly) such an encounter.
In the scene in "Chosen" when Buffy goes down into the basement and sees Spike's "picture" of Angel on the punching bag, there is a little exchange that makes me wonder about Joss (who penned this ep.)
Buffy: One of these days I'm just gonna lock the two of you in a room together [Spike and Angel].
Spike: No qualms from this end...
Buffy (To herself): Oh, there could be oil involved.
Not too sure i have this down ver batum, but i think that's how it goes....Made me smile.
