It could also be of use to those whose partner has loud, annoying bouts snoring.

Do you know what is the best way to combat snoring?
Please refrain from offering details of a quick dig in the ribs or similar, even the funny ones! Tee Hee
Any and all answers will be accepted.

With a partner who snores, I've found that smothering them with a large pillow definitely stops it. Of course, it may stop their breathing as well...but you can't make an omelette without breaking a few eggs, right?

What if you break the eggs before you allow the frying pan to heat up, or down if you live in a basement.
I don't snore! It's a vicious lie told by people who are sleep deprived!

Those people are sleep deprived because of your snoring. Said people did get a recording of the snoring, but couldn't get you to sign it, meanie!
There is uvula surgery if you don't have sleep apnea. Weight loss and exercise can also help.

Sleep apnea requires medical help as it can lead to death. Many of the worst snorers have sleep apnea. It is not something to put off finding out about.

I had the uvula surgery AND my tonsils removed at 33 (2002). The tonsils were extremely large and deep, so i actually have dips in the back of my throat that occasionally catch small food particulate. So a bit easier for me to "choke".

Were the tonsils removed on purpose? tee hee

Did it help your snoring? Breathing? Tosilitis (recurrent infections). Removal of tonsils and adenoids was common when i was a child. Not sure about now.

I've heard that sewing a pocket on the back of their pajamas and putting in a golf ball might help. It makes it so they won't lie on their back, which is the most common snoring position.

For all (both) the intelligent people above, the best way to stop snoring is to wake the person up. Pillows to the face nor surgery are involved. Besides, bursting a very large balloon close to the person can be fun, especially if they are lying on the edge of a swimming pool. Bloody cold water might be involved. . .

I am a new member of the CPAP club! So I don't really snore much now unless the mask moves of course!! lol
