Friend of all the World
Also killing Warren wasn't the point. He was virtual sociopath anyway but it was about Willow using magic to control the world around her and that power eventually consuming her. They were more concerned about her soul than punishing her. Generally speaking Buffy is more about salvation than punishment.
I was thinking that too. Granted, I do agree that Willow got off a bit too lightly, but am I the only one who saw Willow and Dark Willow a bit like Angel and Angelus? Not comparable in every aspect, at least not in the sense that Willow can't be held accountable for Dark Willow's actions because after all, she did decide to use that magic, but at least in the sense that they are not *really* the same person. If we take the whole "magic as drugs" metaphor - people do terrible things when they are in the grip of something so powerful and people get off with milder sentences in courts all the time if what they did happened while they were under the influence.
