Forum Changes - New Descriptions

People should remember, and see from the Caritas stuff going on now, that we are flexible. If we make a change and it doesn't work we can make another change or change it back. But if you make rational suggestions rather than yelling at us, threatening to leave, or calling us names, then you will have a better chance of getting what you want. We want to do what the members at large want - but we aren't mind readers. So if we do something we think people will like and they don't, it's not because we deliberately wanted to do something everyone hated. It's like with the Whedonverse forum thread - if no one gives any input into how they want it to be, then we only have our own opinions to go on.

I agree with you Buffy, you do pay for this, you put hard work in it, but I think that just leave it the way it is. I like the new way your doing it, its good but this is just getting all of us into fights and everything. I have been trying to talk to people try and get my opinion across but its not working. This is too much trouble, I dont say change it back, i dont even know what im saying anymore. Maybe you might want to talk to people more like you asked what they thought about the pets, but you guys do a great work here, this is just an idea for future.

I think that the changes are great and the mods and admins are only trying to make the boards better,and I really appreciate all the hard work they put in 🙂 Keep up the good work 😀
 
Yeah it's all great and you do a god job. I daresay a better one than some of the other forums i go on (naming no names). ::kiss::
 
Senior Partners: Keep up the good work! I don't really care about posts or forum changes. It's still Buffy-Boards, so Im still happy.

There is more than post count. how about people that have been on the boards longer: Senior Partners, Lee, myself and others all last year at the beginning of 2003? Some of use do not have thousands of posts. And then the people who joined later, and just shot up like a weed in post count (they must have a lot of free time).

Post count does not make you a better member. Involvement, thoughful and intelligent posts, posts that do not bash anybody or make others feel ashamed for what they feel: that is what is important here.
 
yeah, keep up the good work, this forum is awesome and so much better than other Buffy forums i've visited!
 
Staff of BB I feel you have made a great range of new things whilst I have been away, this place is just outstanding, you should receive Emmy's.
