Forum skin question.

Since I joined the board I've been using the That Vision Thing skin. However I recently switched to the Buffy Season Five skin. I switched to this on both the drop down menu on the main page and by changing it in the Edit Options section of my User CP. But every time I leave the site and then come back, my skin has switched back to the TVT one and I have to use the drop down menu to switch it again. That doesn't take long and isn't really a problem, but having to do it kind of bothers me. So, does anyone know why this happens and how I can fix it? Cheers in advance for any and all help!

PS: Sorry if this is a silly question - I can be a bit of a dweeb sometimes lol.

Perhaps clearing your cookies can help? Sometimes it's a cookie thing. So I would suggest to: Log off, clear cookies, log on again, choose skin and then enter the site again to see if it worked 🙂

What browser are you using? First like of attack is definitely clearing out your cookies cache. You can do this from Tools > Internet Options and from there you will have the option to either clear you cache, cookies, or delete temporary Internet files. Then, make sure you set your skin in your User CP as you did before (the drop-down menu is always temporary and your skin will always be reset next time you come online). Logout, shut your browser and try logging back in again. It SHOULD have stuck this time. 🙂
