Happy Fourth of July to my fellow American Buffy-Boarders! How are you celebrating? I ate lunch at a local park earlier today (and visited the adjacent zoo), and later tonight I will be going to a Fourth of July concert downtown. And do any of the non-American BBers acknowlege the holiday in any way?

I actually forgot that it was today. I was all set to go to the bank and then my dad was like . . .uhhhh . . . they's closed.

Then I hung my head in non-patriotic shame.

I am celebrating with work. Lots of work. It sucks.

I get off in less than two hours though, and then i'll be getting three kiddos and going to watch fireworks. Yay! We spent all weekend at the lake for the holiday too, although i'm paying for that one now.
 
I'll be working! Until midnight! Yay. 😛 I work at the county fair, so we'll still be open. It's set to be one of our busiest days. But at least there's fireworks. 😉
 
I ran the Peachtree Road Race and its storming now so maybe not doing fireworks downtown tonight. Anyways, Happy Independence Day to my fellow United Statesians.
 
At first, I really didn't think I'd have anything going on. But Now I'm going over to my mother's for dinner and then i think we are going to see fireworks.
 
My four year old has been singing about fireworks all day, so when the sun sets, we're going to walk over to the charles river to see the fireworks. I'm excited.
 
We usually set off our own fireworks, this is the first time in years we haven't. It's too dry in our area this year so I'm just ordering pizza and watching television or playing video games with the boyfriend. 😀 Happy 4th everyone! 😀

and I'm seeing fireworks later...
I'm doing anything real special, but I'm very appreciative of the day off! :bounce:
 
well, I didn't actually make it to the big event... got about half way there and my little one, who's sick but really wanted to go so we were pulling her in a wagon... decided she wanted to go home. oh well, we'll see them on tv. 🙂
 
My dad's American, so sometimes we celebrate 4th July/Thanksgiving.
Usually on the 4th we have hotdogs and soft drinks, but everyone except my mum and I are away, so we didn't this time 😛
