Fray Character

I have the Fray comics I just havent gotten around to reading them yet because I have been really busy but could someone describe her character to me? I want to know what she is like.

She's kind of like if you mixed Buffy and Faith together. She's just too cool for school.

Imagine a sort of feral Faith with more attitude and not quite as much refinement, sort of a sort of female human pit bull, but not quite as shy. That's Fray. try not to pi** her off!

Except Fray has a big heart underneath (one might even think of her as latently maternal), and a buried sense of responsibility.

I read the first 2 issues when they came out,m but then the local comic store quit carrying Dark Horse comics for a while. I need to get the TPB so I cna read on the Buffyverse is in the future.

With her scar she is kind of reminiscent of Wishverse Buffy. Although I guess she's not quite as far gone. Because ultimately I think she is a lot like Buffy, but without the extensive friends-network.

I sort of think of Fray as Gwen from Ats. I got reminded of this watching season 4 the other day.. the whole thief/sexy/super powers thing. With I guess a little wishverse Buffy thrown in.

I think there's maybe a dash of self-hatred and guilt too, over events in her past.
