Come on guys, let's get this bugger active!

I personally love Fray and I always have it with me. Which isn't so good considering that it's the library's! Hehe!

I have the TPB. I loved it. I sincerely hope that Joss will do a second limited series.

@TabulaRasa: Fray is a vampire Slayer from the future, that Joss wrote a cannonical comic book series about a few years ago:Fray on Wikipedia.

I just found out that Mel's full name is Melaka. I thought it was Meleka for the longest time...lmao!

I also found out that I ruined my town's Joss Whedon intake by destroying the Fray library book...I didn't mean too! I mean, sure the cover came off while in my possession but...ah, nevermind. Excuses aren't good. (Except in dire situations.)

Anyway...

The spine was already half torn off so it wasn't my fault. 😀

Your library has comic's?! I wish my local library had comics.
Just finished reading Fray. TFAW finally delivered it! I have to say I haven't read many comics but I never enjoyed one more than Fray. It hits all the right spots, visually it is perfect, Moline is probably my favourite artist of all that I have seen in S8 and After the Fall. The dialogue is just Joss on fire. I lost count how many times I LOL. The story was a bit predictable (saw the Harth "twist" coming a mile off) but the characters were so interesting that it really doesn't matter at all because it just sucks you into her world. And Loo! Oh My God how I love Loo. How cute is she when she talks about being "scareded"!! I also have a soft spot for Urkonn. He was like mix of Beast (from Beauty and the) and Giles when he was turned into a demon. Ok I have babbled long enough🙂

Have you read the Fray story in "Tales Of The Slayers?"
Nom WA I've never read any of the Tales of the Slayers. Is it good?

It's just a short story, even by comic book standards, but, yes, it is good. Not much in the way of action, but I'll bet it'll play a part in the Buffy/Fray arc. (It's in the first "Tales..." by the way. I think that there are a couple of others.)

I got it a few weeks ago and loved it. The little girl (who's name I can't remember; how horrible is that?) was great . . . and then she died! And I sniffled. It was sad.

That'd be Loo. I loved her too:)
My favourite part is when she finally slays vampires.. and she says something like 'My hand barely shakes'.
I'm still a bit confused about the demon lords in the other dimension though. What do they mean by 'that portal has been breached twice already. We must not risk it.' What portal?
Guess I could just be reading too much into it.

It's been awhile since I read it, but I recall a time when I thought I understood that.

To my recollection it was the portal between the human and demon dimension. It was breached once to send Urkon to teach Fray, and once so Vrill and Boluz (the demon head guys) could communicate with Urkon, or was it breached twice by Urkonn, I'm not sure.

For whatever reason there seems to be complications when connecting between the 2 dimensions. There's theories, of course, as to why that might be a problem, but they're just theories.

hmm guess Joss does like being deliberately confusing..
That confused me a bit too. First I thought they were talking about the Hellmouth and then I thought it was something like with Glory, although n4h's explanation makes much more sense.

Buffy/Fray arc? isnt Fray meant to be centuries in the future?: erm :
