So, the whole episode is set up to make us think that there's something wrong with Fred's parents or their relationship with her. In the end, they're sweet, loving people, and Fred was only afraid to face them because it made her time in Pylea real--it brought reality crashing in.
Knowing this, why is it that, when Fred goes to caritas and asks Lorne for help, that Lorne tells her to run? Wouldn't he comfort her and tell her to go back, to face her demons (literal and figurative). If he could read her and know it was just her fear and trauma from her ordeal on Pylea? why would he tell her something false or something contrary to what she should do?
