My faborite couple was Fred and Wesley, and I was so upset when things went south there. Anyone else a massively obsessed Fresley fan?
 
I loved Fred and Wesley, right from the beginning I thought they should have been a couple, it was tragic that they're relationship was cut off so soon. Wesley and Illyria could have been an interesting couple, but NO, Wesley had to die. Tragic tragic tragic.
 
I had been a fan from the beginning, and when they finally got together I was extatic for a wekk! Then I was devistateed. Wesley had loved her from the start, and I was so sad when she got ith Gunn.
 
Fresley was wonderful. I just wish they could have spent more time together but there you go. You know how the writers love to bring the pain. I cried so hard when Fred died....
 
I love how much Wesley cared about her. From the start, even when she was with Gunn, he would have done anything for her. It broke my heart.
 
Definitely a big Fresley fan here. It was my favorite Angel couple. And whenever I'm rewatching the Angel series, from the moment Fred appears I'm officially watching for all those sneaky yet adorable potential Fresley moments. I mean Gunn and Fred were sweet I admit, but the whole time that relationship was airing, I was desperate for their to be a Fresley thing to happen. Thus fulfilling my hope, but also breaking hearts at the same time as is the writers' hobby.

I was ecstatic in Smile Time when it all came together...and then devastated when it was all snatched away. It seems my favorite couples are doomed to officially last no longer than an episode ::Goes off grumbling about the writers.....haha::
 
You basically just said my entire emotion! I'm amazed I liked Lilah, but I HATED her with Wesley. It was so clear he didn't love her He would do anything for Fred, though. How many people did he shoot in her honor? Knox, Robo Dd, that one dude h shot in the knee in A Hole in the World, and then it made me laugh that she shot the giant puppet for him Giggle much.

The scene in Souless is one f my favorites. The lines "There's nothing wrong with that" and then he says, "Yes there is," and ksses her. I love Wesley.

They rock together, I was watching provider and watching Wes and Gunn fight over her....and i soooo wanted wes to get the girl

Fresley is sooo sweet

I didn't warm to Illyria until the final episode

I REALLY liked Lilah, but not Weslah

Wesley is pretty amazing, ever try watching Season 3 of buffy again? It's impossible to dislike him!
 
I have loved Wes from the start, but I fell madly in love with him in Season three of Angel whe he got all tough and cool It's amazing to see Buffy Wesley and then season four of Angel Wesley. Its' like two different people. I was devistated in Waiting in the Wings when Fred kissed Gunn. Why not Wes!!!

Have you ever thought what might have been different in the show if she'd picked Wes? He wouldn't have had to sneak off with connor because he would have told Fred, then Connor would not have wound up in the other demenision, so no Cordy/Connor thing would have happened, so noJasmine, and things probably would have been much much happier.
 
I know. Mine, too. I think the main appeal of it for me was that I am a lotlike Fred, and I am mad for Wesley, so it just makes complete sense to me. They were the main couple I cared about I prefer Cordy/Angel, but I didn't care if they got together or not. Same for the Buffy couples. I just wanted Fred and Wes together, and in the end they kind of were, if you believe what Illyria said. They're somewhere in Heaven.
 
See the part that got to me was that he died and she, well dissapeared, so they cant be together because her soul burned up.....well, as far as we know by the end of Not Fade Away.....im not saying anything about the comics....not, here anyway
 
See, I haven' read and can't read the comics due to my vison impairment, soI am DYING to know what happens in them. I'm begging for spoilers from anywhere!

As far as her soul, I don't remeber them saying her soul was bured up, but maybe I just missed it. I believe her soul left her body, and Illyria invaded it. Fragments were left behind, thus Illyria's knowledge of Fred's feelings.

Im pretty sure they said it got burned up....and im certai nthey said she was gone. nothing.
 
I'm going to pretend that they didn't so that, you know, I can believe things are okay for Wesley I also like to think that Cordy and Doyle and maybe even Darla are there, too, if Darla got in, you know. I just want Wes to be happy. He was the best character. Fred ws the second best
 
As long as Lilahstays far far away from Wesley in Heaven, she can get in. Lindsey MUST get in. I was so sad when Lorne shot him.
 
lol, funny i got this feeling of nostalgic satasfaction

But, now that I think about it, The Senior Partners probably own his and Lilah's souls

And why we're at it probably Wesley's and freds (undecided if theres a soul to own or not)
 
Oh, God, then they're all screwed! lol Same for Gunn.

I guess Cordy and Doyle are lnely the, huh Cordy was never a fan of Darla's, so Maybe she'll hang out with Tara and Anya. XD

Oh, why did Fred and Wes have to die? Why? Why? Why?
