Fred and Wesley

Wow, just read that and posted a response since we probably can't mention it here. Total confusion.
 
Well, regardless of what occurs in the comics, Fresley is my favorite pairing from the Whedonverse. I am determined to go home and watch Smile Time and A Hole in the World tomorrow night I'll cry, but at least they had a moment..

I love the scene in A Hole in the World in front of the fire.
 
I was so mad at that episode because I saw Smile Time the first time around, but I missed A Hole in the World because of something I had to do, so my best frien called me and said, "Oh, yeah, and Fred isdying, by the way" I was so angry I was like, "but they just got together! Joss wouldn't do that to us!" But, you know, Joss loves doing that to us.

Oh, don't get me started on You're Welcome. I was a cordy Angel fan, and I thought I had finally got my hopes, but then it was all not real. Cordy died. Grrr! Then, like two episodes or three episodes later, Fred did too!
 
Another great example is the whole "Were We in love?" thing from Wpin the Bottle, and at the end she says "We were", and then it ends all sadlike. Joss Whedon the king of cruelty. Yet, he manages to be so funny, too

Dollhouse will be interesting for sure.

I think Joss was the meanest to Wesley, though. I mean, the guy got his throat slit, lost his friends and the girl he loves, got them back, got the girl he loves, saw her die, got back his bad memories, and got killed himself Tough couple of years.

I loved the prospect of Fred and Wesley. I was always rooting for that romance to come up earlier than we got in season 5.

I just love "Soulless" when Wesley takes matters into his own hands and just kisses Fred. Awesome.

I liked Fred from the beginning. I always liked Wesley, even when he was on Buffy, but I absolutely LOVE him in season 4. I'm in love with season 4 Wes.
 
OMG, me too! The darker he is, the cooler he is. I loved him always, though. He and Fred should have had more time together.
 
I am much more a Fred/Gunn shipper, but I do think Wes and Fred had potential. I just never got all that invested in it because it was so short-lived, more than anything I just grieved alongside Wes for what could have been.
