Freddie Prinze Jr. is being sued for hitting another car hard enough to force the other driver to need neck surgery. TMZ reports that according to the lawsuit, Prinze was driving wife Sarah Michelle Gellar's car in Los Angeles in 2009 when he "suddenly and without warning" rear-ended a car that was stopped at a red light. The driver suffered serious neck injuries in the crash and hasn't been able to work since. The plaintiff has been told he needs neck surgery and didn't want to sue, but his insurance company low-balled him and he's suing Prinze to get the money he needs.

The lawsuit is demanding damages in the six-figure range.

Bet that didn't please Sarah, six figure sum payout sounds a lot aswell.
 
Wow that sucks so bad. It sounds like freddie wasn't paying attention since he ran into a stopped car.

Dang. This is exactly why a man's car insurance rate is generally much higher than that of a woman's! 😛 Should leave the driving to SMG. Just glad no one was severely hurt...or dead!

Wow that's quite alot of money too, i bet this is slightly over exaggerated though, i think if a celebrity crashed into you, you'd sue the hell out of them just for the sake of getting more money ;3

I don't get something. This car - is it only Sarah's? They don't share the car? Or does he have a car of his own that he already smashed just like Sarah's?

Not sure of all the details but i assume he just borrowed the car, maybe he doesn't have one himself.

This is what I'm thinking right now... In a marriage, isn't everything supposed to be shared? Why do they have to make the point that it's SARAH'S car? If they're married, shouldn't the story say something more along the lines of "Freddie Prinze Jr, who is married to Sarah Michelle Gellar, crashed on of the couples' vehicles."
 
Glad that nobody was killed, I'm sure they will quietly settle this out of court.


Gotta be more careful there Freddie....

SMG... I don't particualrly trust her to be any more careful than Freddie. I remember she burnt down her apartment kitchen once...

Aargh, if they're that rich, GET A DRIVER!

More likely than not. I don't see why they can't have multiple cars. They're rich, anyways.

Yes, she did. It was in Japan. Everything was on Japanese, LOL. She also had a problem with their toilets. And we all know they have some weird stuff. Their stove is not an ordinary stove we know 😀

On the other hand, I've managed to burn down the kitchen with an ordinary stove.

Hey, I know ALL ABOUT their toilets, spent 2 weeks there. I pressed EVERY SINGLE button on the control panel.
