First scene -

This has got to be my favourite scene of ALL TIME

I love it, its hilarious

With Cordy and Wesley doing the dramactic scene and then Cordy goes "bite me" and angel comes in and says "how 'bout yo both bite me" I love that line 🙂

Me too! that's one of my favorite scenes.
I agree. I think that's actually my favorite scene in the entire history of Angel. Had me "ROFL"ing for real.

I think what gets me is Wesley's voice when he says "I love you so much I almost forgot to BROOD!"

Now I want to watch that episode, lol.

That is possibly the best quote in Angel
It was great to see that the other characters could see the humor in the whole relationship, given that it was so serious at the time. Plus, it was just hilarious they way they made everything so melodramatic!

I loved that scene as well! My friends and I always quote the scene back and forth its pretty funny! I just love how they are making fun of the Bangel relationship and making it out to be what I always thought it was, a bit cheesey but cute all the same. Don't attack me Bangels! I do appreciate Bangel for what it's worth.

it needed to be made fun of i think, cant take it all so serious now can we? like spike mocking angel "to the Angelmobile, away!" it needs to be done.... plus funny

I adore this scene! I love how dramatic Wesley is, especially when he goes, "I LOVE YOU SO MUCH I ALMOST FORGOT TO BROOD!"

There's really nothing better than the scenes where people mock Angel.

That's because he's so stiff and serious all of the time. He's the perfect target for it.
Oh, totally. That scene is so unexpected it's all the more hilarious. "Kiss me" "BITE me!" =D

I actually really enjoy these scenes when Angel's made fun of. I love Angel, but it's just too funny. Actually, that's what appealed to me maybe the most in season 1. I was just watching the show, kind of reluctantly, because all I knew from Angel was this dark, brooding, oh-so-heroic character from Buffy, always sad yet classy. And in S1, the scenes where all of this is turned in derision really pleased me, cos I took them to mean "Well, we're not gonna give you only the always-righteous, cursed hero... We know sometimes it's ridiculous, so we're gonna take the most of this !". I think mostly about that scene with the high jump into Angel's car... with the slow motion and all... however well... that's not Angel's car, his is just the next one. xD
Or when he uses a Batman thingy to get out from a basement where he's locked with Kate... but the thing doesn't work and Kate gives him a weird look before shooting the door's lock. xD
Or the Doyle comment about Angel's super-coat =D

Well, that's a really clever thing to do.

Really LOVE it xD

I thought "FINALLY someone said what I think!! xDDD

Angel is really a good target to mock o/

So many people to agree with so why do you get the karma? The question is, why not? Great scene obviously.
I love when the show makes fun of itself, like when the X-Files have parody episodes. It needs to be done to keep the show grounded, if anything takes itself too seriously it looses alot of its appeal, this is true with people as well as movies, tv shows, etc.
