Fred's Screen Test

That scene was brilliant...would have loved to have seen it included somehow.

haha, thats one of the best scenes from the show, and its a freaking screen test. lol... "But... Bosoms...dont you wanna?"
 
I also love how it was Gunn and Wes that the test was with...clearly the writers had intened there to be a tug of war between them for her effections long before it actually happened.
 
And Gunn speaking all of that Shakespeare-esque dialog was hilarious.

And once more I get really mad at Joss for not putting great stuff like this on an "extras" disc with each season of "Buffy," "Angel," and "Firefly." It's not like this stuff has gotten lost or destroyed, because there's still bloopers, deleted scenes, screen tests, and dailies showing up on Youtube and even private fan sites. There's an archive out there that still gets broken into and raided even this late after the series' have been canceled. (Maybe that's what was REALLY in that Watchers' library that Fray found)

It was! 😀 I loved this scene, so good. They really should have had it in the show.

Wasn't this scene in the extras of season 3? That's where I saw it.

Haha, funily enough I was just watching s3 extra's on my DVDs and stumbled across the screen test (there's also one for Connor, but I don't really like it at all...the only thing funny there are Angel's facial expressions...gotta love DB for those 😀). It's really so incredibly funny! Now imagine the scene had gone on...it would've been hilarious to see Angel get mixed up in the spell as well :lmao:
 
All three of them were splendid. I saw the video before I watched a full episode of Angel and I fell in love with Fred then. 🙂
They seemed to have a lot of fun with it.

A few parts I especially like:


GUNN: Have I fallen asleep? Am I dreaming such a beautiful sight?

I just watched the Screen test for VK and there was a really different feel to that screen test to the story we actually got on the show.
