Can someone recommend me a free service for making websites?

I don't know any html code, don't want to pay anything(yet I don't want too much adds on my site), need to be able to upload lots of pics in high quality and like things simple.

Got any recommendations?

PS. The website will be like a huge gallery with photos of Buffy collectibles and info on them.

If it's for fanfiction and stuff like that, I'd suggest just getting a Livejournal. It's relatively easy to use and free unless you upgrade to a paid account.
