That's what I said when I watched the other video. In that news video the woman says 'it's about an 8th grader getting ready to party on a Friday night.' Yep, 8th graders driving around partying. Makes do one of these- 😕

After seeing a lot of Rebecca Black comments on twitter and facebook as well as getting invited to the party I just had to check the video out. I had no idea what people were going on about. I'll be happy never to hear or watch it again. But from that to all the mean things happening? Don't approve of that one bit. Liked the comments that Min posted. If that reflects on how Rebecca is I say good for her.

The talk of good or bad music is funny yet sad. Who are you to decide what's good or bad? It comes down to personal taste. Do Britney Spears or Justin Bieber do/performe some incredible music? Not to me, but there seems to be others that disagree with me. You don't like what I like? Fine. Each to their own. But it seems we have to make ourselves feel better by bashing someone else. Just because you don't like something it doesn't mean you have to act like an idiot or jerk. Freedom of speech is one thing. How you express your thoughts something else. In my mind. I'm sure someone disagrees. 😉

This was pulled up yesterday in my choir class, and Ms. A couldn't get us to settle down after watching it. Everyone kept leaning over to their friends and saying something like, "Today it is Friday," or "We so excited."

It was utter chaos. And this video will always have a little dark hole in my heart because of it. XD

I couldn't even watch a minute of it but I'm pretty sure it's the worst thing ever. Seriously, I hope I never hear or see that again, it's laughable and just awful.

I don't think it's the worst song ever made. I think...it's just ridiculous, like, really? The lyrics are horrible, but it's not supposed to be the next "Stairway to Heaven" or the Greatest Song Ever Written. It's supposed to be a fun, cute song for preteens about being excited for the weekend, and that's it. As much as I think the video and song are dumb, guess what me and all my college-age friends were doing yesterday? Singing this song.

Omg hahahaha! So I randomly found this video on another forum... It just made my day. These two guys are at a live hockey game in Ottawa and during a commercial break they played 'Friday' in the arena, so the dudes dance and lip sync to it with everybody watching them on the jumbotron. 😀 They got an ovation afterward, lmao.

Ohhh and watch the kid in the background at the beginning, he's freaking hilarious, hahahaha! 😛
