Friend found Dead

This is really weird. Like.. I don't see him often. But I saw him just the other day. And now.. I won't see him ever again.

I lost my grandfather a few months back.. but this is different. This was a kid. A good kid. It's really surreal right now.

That just seems strange to me. Would make sense to put the money into a charity in his name or something, but never heard that. Just my own honest opinion is it seems a little disrespectful. I suppose people deal with grief in different ways so I wont judge.
 
Ballistics tests that were performed Thursday by the Richland County Sheriff's Department, and a Crimestoppers tip helped Lexington Co. deputies develop probable cause to obtain an arrest warrant on Friday for Taylor on a charge of murder in connection with the shooting of the 17-year-old man, Metts said.

Results of the ballistics tests show that empty shell casings of ammunition found at the scene of the fatal shooting of Dequan Bernard Davis and those found at the scene of the fatal shooting of 37-year-old Azell Angnetta Barton, whose body was found in her SUV, were all fired from the same 40-caliber Ruger handgun, Metts said.

The handgun was recovered from Taylor Wednesday when deputies arrested him at an Orangeburg County.

The Crimestoppers tip said Taylor killed Barton as a result of ongoing problems in their romantic relationship, Metts said. The tip said Davis was not connected with Barton or Taylor and that his killing was likely a random act.

An arrest warrant sayd at about 4:05am Wednesday Taylor shot Davis several times in the upper torso while Davis was calling a friend on his cell phone and riding a bicycle on Charleston Highway, Metts said. A motorist called 911 after encountering Davis on the road.

The motorist told deputies that Davis was conscious and asked him for help, Metts said. The motorist told deputies that Davis did not tell him who shot him or why he was shot.

So it seems as though De was shot for no apparant reason. Who does that? I can somewhat understand shooting someone out of anger. There's a logical thought process there. Okay, not a good one, but I can see the motive. But there was no motive for De. He was riding his freaking BIKE.

I just.. don't understand people. At all.

That is absolutely awful, my thoughts are with you and De's family right now.
