I don't follow any one specific poster. If I'm not interested or have absolutely nothing to contribute to a topic, I just won't bother with it. And I definitely don't bother avoiding certain posters. This place would probably get dull quick if everyone agreed with everyone.

Yeah, there's members on here I find more interesting then others. I notice if someone hasn't been on in a while. But I try to take everyone's opinion into consiteraton, sure.

And if it was Buffy Summers, I always click on it, just in case she's said something important.

Same for me here... but it also has to do with my paranoia. What if Buffy changed the rules here, posted the change in one thread, and now I do something wrong because of not knowing the new jurisdiction? (I know, I'm terrible... :blushy: )

Aside from that, I always go by topic. I graze down threads by subforum, have hardly ever used the "New Posts" function. I do have to say, though, whenever there's many unread threads in a sub, and one of them is started or has its last post by palabra, I do tend to open that one first. I've always loved her posts.

Do you covet certain members posts or certain topics? I have found myself lately altering the methods in which posts I respond to, and which posts I try to avoid. Certain members I will converse with and those I just give a one or two word answer to.. have you went through anything similar?

To be completely honest, yes. I've done it for some time now. And I think to a certain extent everyone is guilty of that at some time or another. Lets take you for example...I would normally bypass anything with your name attatched to it, but I guess I'm just having an off night. LOL. Kidding chico, simmer down. But yes, I do.

Although I am fairly fresh to the forum, I cannot deny the fact that I love to see others who share my same opinion.. but I generally tend to seek out those who I've disagreed/clashed with before. Once I've felt the opposite charge from their membrane, I cannot help my natural attraction. I mean, I do not seek to debate.. but it keeps it interesting.

I won't name either... I do love the vocal members and not in the sense where they agree entirely on the subject without any criticism, even if I commit the sin myself sometimes. Underlying though, I generally let much some prejudice overtake my posts. It's a habit. Woof woof.

I tend to look at the new threads first. I still haven't watched all Buffy and Angel episodes so I usually ignore the sub forums on the seasons I still have to watch, because, you know, spoilers. Also, because I'm not yet seriously knowledgeable when it comes to the seasons I have watched, because I've seen most episodes only once, I don't think i post a lot in the actual show related threads, because I don't yet have much interesting to say. I just like to see what other people are writing and thinking. And because I just like to read, rather than write (especially when it comes to the actual shows), I don't really discriminate on who started the thread and who the last poster was. I just work my way down the unread post list and read what sounds interesting. In fact, I still don't really know that many people here so mostly it will be like "hey thingy wrote something... I have no idea who thingy is (or, more often: I haven't read anything thingy wrote in a long time, I think), let's see ^^"
When I do get involved in a discussion I try to ignore any personal feelings I might or migh not have towards a person or about a topic in general, because I know I'm not all that good in discussions, so I try to just write down what I think and leave it like that.

So on all the questions, no. Not really.

I tend to be fairly random in my post viewing capacity, having said that... if im searching the forums for a random thread and see that someone has posted who i've had fairly good/ thought provoking conversation with in the past (naming names off the top of my head... Joan, EB, Cangel, BB, palabra, LT and quite a few more) then im definitely gonna check it out.

More than following members though, Ill still go for interesting looking title threads.

I try my best to read everything. Usually I'll go from thread to thread posting witty karma comments, but no post in the actual thread.
The only posts I try to avoid are ones by that mantelope, clown boy, CotA, his posts are far too corrupt for me.

If I'm feeling a bit intellectually smarty, I'll go read some of Blondie Bears's posts, or Lou's, or itsxpaperdoll, or Relic. Along those lines.
If I'm feeling like some comic relief, I'll go read some of SCOBRO's posts (like this thread, I expected to be alot funnier, I am disappointed).

So far as a newbie i have posted a fair bit and dont realy know anyone in here.
I am not smart and sometimes dont understand what people type and have good mate called dictonary (did i spell that right?)
But i shall answer topic...
On a fourm i use daily before i found this. I have began 2 dislike certain people as they can be rude. But if they make a topic or point i agree with i answer them as normal. I normaly dont pay attention to the person that started the thread i just read and answer as best as i can...
