Friendships after Buffy

I'm just curious about friendships that were made on the set of Buffy.
We know that some of the cast fell in love on each other (for example: Alyson & Alexis). I know that Michelle and Sarah are still in touch (I've seen their photo from shopping from last year, so cute!). Alyson and Tom Lenk are friends too.
You know more? It's really interesting for me, I hope that not every friendship ended up with the last episode of BtVS.
 
A couple of months ago, Alyson made a tweet along these lines: "Waiting for [MENTION=1598]Anthony[/MENTION]shead to arrive. Why are my English friends so slow?" So, obviously, she (and probably Alexis as well) remain friends with Anthony. I've also seen photos and interviews suggesting that Anthony is also friendly -- if not friends -- with Emma, Nicholas, and James. (I've seen one really funny photo where Nicholas is kissing Anthony on the mouth on stage at a Con or similar type event.)
 
Joss and Eliza are tight. She said in a pre-"Dollhouse" interview that he has been like a mentor to her, that they meet for lunch fairly often, and that he created "Dollhouse" specifically for her.

Also, it's my understanding that Sarah and David are close.

I think they were close but I haven't heard a single thing about them since S1 of his own show.

Joss is close with Alyson and Alexis too (they are Godparents to one of his children).

David is very close to Christian Kane (but that began long before the shows).

Charisma Carpenter and Julie Benz are very tight. CC also seems to be reconnecting with J. August Richards. And Julie is good friends with Clare Kramer.

Amy Acker has often commented on being good friends with Joss.

Also, Mark Lutz (Gru) speaks often on how he and Andy Hallett were best friends.
 
Maybe this one is too obvious to post, but I haven't seen it mentioned yet so I know that Sarah and Alyson are like best friends.
 
aww, I'm so happy to see all the friendships!

what about james and sarah? I mean, they connect so well on screen...
 
Amber Benson and Adam Busch are close. They also directed a movie together.

I think they are. They seem real close so I've assumed that they were.

Yup, they're dating. They were even together during the show, I've heard!

I would suppose that Alyson Hannigan and Emma Caulfield are friends, (I think Emma was in her wedding party) but I wouldn't bet my life on it
 
I once saw an interview with David & James (maybe right after Angel ended?), and they both said (especially David) that they keep their private lives and their work lives separate. That doesn't mean that none of them are friends, it's just that they might not be as chummy as they are on screen. And I'm sure that some of them are tighter than others. Also, just because they tweet to and about each other doesn't mean they're best buds. It's just a common thing, especially since I'm assuming that all of them have public Twitter accounts, and then accounts (Twitter, FB, email) that are private.
 
Charisma is supposed to be a bridesmaid in Julie's upcoming wedding.

The cast of Firefly pretty much are still all friends with each other.

Seth Green constantly tweets Buffy alumni but especially Eliza.

Amy Acker and Neil Patrick Harris are good friends (he said in an interview that she was his connection to Joss before Dr. Horrible.)
 
I've heard that Neil was on the wedding of Aly and Alexis. And it was in 2003 so before HIMYM.

I just read an article about Charisa on latina.com where she's talked about Buffy reboot. OF course, she thinks it's a terrible idea. But it's not the point.

At the end is a little something:

We asked Charisma if she still hangs out with some of her old Buffy pals. "Yes!" she said. "I'm in touch with David {Boreanaz} and Julie {Benz} mostly and a little bit of Alyson Hannigan. I adore Amy Acker. I would be happy to visit with them again. We hang out!" she said. ​

So, everything we wanted to know. 😀

That is good to hear David is hilarious and Julie is such a sweetheart :) Also Aly is Aly haha.
