A thought inspired by Soulgasm's action movie thread. With all the recent talk of action movies etc, it got me thinking of the trained fighters and professionals that crossover into acting and are the actually any good at it.
Arnie, good with the action, but the acting leaves a lot to be desired.
Bruce Lee, undeniably an awesome fighter but his acting was flat, he was a fighter first then an actor.
Van Damm, again with the fighting good but a wooden actor
Brandon Lee, although he's not made as much movies as the others, he did do a handful of martial arts movies before his death. Good fighther and a very decent actor. Opposite from his father, his acting came before his fighting.
Stallone, well not too keen on him
The only one that I can think of (at the moment) that is pretty decent in both is Bruce Willis, good action hero and has the ability to play a lot of different characters. Vin Diesel is also pretty good, although his best acting movies is Boiler Room and Diversity (a short movie he made himself)
I've missed tonnes no doubt so any thoughts and additions?
