So what did you think the girl meant in Frankfurt when she said this? Personally, I don't think she was talking about the giant worm. Perhaps she was talking about the hellmouth? Anyone have any input? 😀

yup im going with the hellomouth
cause i hardly think two episodes worth of teaser would be for one of anya's little wish granters
but thats just me
plus
hellmouth
its all about beginnings (we had that rammed down our throats) so yeh
im going with hellmouth

I think it refers to Hellmouth too. I also think that this is how Anya will leave the show. Perhaps the hellmouth will open up and take her. With Sarah's presence next season still looming in the shadows, it may very well be how she leaves the show too. That phrase was only said to Buffy and Anya.

Hellmouth, definatly, that's probably also what Willow and Anya can feel!

Well Dehaufren(or however the hell you spell his name) mentioned this "From beneath you it devours" again this week. It seems everyone knows something big is going down but the good guys.

D'Hoffryn ... didn't see this weeks yet, but I'm all psyched up 4 it!

I think the good guys know something is going down, they just don't know what. Willow is definately aware of it...and they've been reading the signs that everyone has been dropping.

I kinda thought it was weird that D'Hoffryn said what he did. What, so every demon that encounters Buffy is gonna warn her? hmmm..

.... hmmm good point, maybe they befriended at Anya's wedding, though it doesn't sound very likely!

Hmmm interesting choice ... maybe this isn't JUST another Apocalyps, it might be so big it could even destroy the demon world. Would be a nice twist!

Yeah, but D'Hoffryn said this mainly to Anya, I thought, in a 'don't be stupid, I didn't kill you because there's something more horrific coming and I don't want you to miss it' kind of way. And I'm sure he knows that wasn't the 1st time Buffy heard it.

I haven't seen the ep yet so I can't really tell you my interpretation, but this again proves that something is coming!

actually, if you read the comic "fray" by joss the guardian of slayer fray reveals that the last time a slayer was around was Buffy. He tells fray that buffy and her group of friends were trapped in a hell dimension.

one would infer that they would die fighting.

Hmm, that's really interesting, but a little spoilery, maybe you should post it in the spoiler-section and edit this post with [* spoiler] [*/spoiler] tags (leave away the astrixes)!

it doesn't spoil me... I didn'ty understand a word of it. lol.

I'm still thinking it's the senior partners... that'd just be cool.
