I have no idea where to post this. It's sort of a game, but not one you do on the Boards, and it has to do with ships. So I put it here!
I did this earlier with my soccer team, and it was really fun!
First, you find a group of people that you like but don't know super well, like a soccer team. It works best with a group that doesn't know much about Buffy.
Then, ask them questions like, "Are you a Spuffy or a Bangel?" They will have no idea what you're talking about. It's really fun to see their reactions. One girl thought that I was swearing.

By the way, my team liked Spuffy better in general, mostly just because they liked the word better.

hahaha thats awesome that they chose Spuffy over Bangel. I hate most ship names. They just sound ridiculous. Bangel sounds stupid too me and Spuffy isnt much better lol But the ones for Smallville and Charmed are even worse.

I think there is an unofficial rule that ship names have to sound silly.

Except for Clex. It reminds me of Chex Mix, which is awesome.

Actually, there are some pretty cool ship names. Like, in the manga/anime Katekyo Hitman Reborn, the ship names are actually numbers, because they assigned each character a number. For example, one character called Mukuro Rokudo is number 69, because "Roku" means six in Japanese, and "kyu" is nine (and in Jap, Mukuro Rokudo is actually Rokudo Mukuro, because the surname comes first). So if someone shipped him with, say, Sawada Tsunayoshi, who is 27, it would be 6927 (or 2769 depending on who's on top, lol).

But yeah, mostly ship names sound ridiculous, especially to those outside of the fandom.

EDIT: 100th post~
