Funniest Episodes...

Smile Time

I found that there are also some episodes that are hilarious but not supposed to be "comedy" ones. They become more funny for rewatching, because you don't need to chase the plot development and could pay more attention to details. For example, "Hush", "Restless", "Waiting in the Wings".

My list only contains 5 so far, because I feel they are more or less at the same level in terms of funniness. What are your choices?

Real Me (although its Dawn's intro episode its actually really light-hearted and funny)

One thing that I love about Buffy is the comedy. There are so many great episodes. Angel has really funny moments but not as many full episodes. So here's some of my favorites.

Life Serial-probably my 2nd or 3rd favorite ep of s6, it's so funny
Dopplegangland
Pangs
Band Candy is a lot of fun...til the end
Intervention-same thing ^
Tabula Rasa-The middle is just great!
Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered-Great Xander moments


For Angel
Guise will be Guise
Carpe Noctum-Maybe not a comedy episode, but I really liked the comedy it had

Even though 'Gone' isn't a comedy episode by any means, I find invisible Buffy funny for some strange reason...
 
Beer Bad is also very funny. I mean, if you ignore all the badly mentioned bads from its... badness.
 
Earshot is my favorite episode and it's great fun. (It obviously turns and gets a bit darker at the end but until then it's hilarious)

Something Blue is also hard to ignore when it comes to funny episodes.

First two issues of Wolves At The Gate.
The first issue of Twilight (Though the ending was sad and cruel).
New Rules (Issue 2, 3, 4)
Love Dares You (First Issue)

Meta-Funny Episodes/Issues:
Apocalypse, Nowish (I can watch Connor/Cordy haters and gloat.)
Smile Time (Angel/Nina. Angel moved on and I enjoy some people cry uncle.)
Destiny (Yes, first thing Spike would do was f**king Harmony. Deal with it.)
A&F S9: Spike and Faith (Angel pimped Harmony for Spike to f**k. Deal with it.)
First Issue of Wolves At The Gate (I can both laugh along with the comedy and laugh at the desperate "OOC" accusations.)
Turbulence (Yes, Buffy had feelings for Xander. Deal with it.)
 
'Hush' has one of the first times I laughed out loud (during Gile's mime scene). The series has so much humor though there's something amusing in almost every episode.
 
Again no order, but, The Puppet Show (some of the scenes with Snyder alone), BB&B, Band Candy, The Zeppo, Something Blue, Pangs, Once More With Feeling, A New Man, Life Serial, Dopplegangland (maybe not a completely funny episode, but I do get a big laugh out of some of it such as the Cordy-Vamp Willow scenes).
