Funniest/Scariest/Saddest S5 Episode

Funniest: Life of the Party, Harm's Way. (Smile Time's vampire-Angel was great)
Scariest: Not Fade Away
Saddest: Obviously a tie between Not Fade Away and A Hole In The World. I was sadder about Wes' death, but the whole scene where Wes is holding Fred is heartbreaking.

Favorite: Not Fade Away (There are MANY others that are close seconds)
 
Funniest: Smile Time. I laughed my way through this episode. Puppet Angel was sheer brilliance. They got everything right: the coat, the frown, the downturned mouth, but my favorite thing was the hair - the way it bounces up and down when he walks...haha...ok, I'll stop here.
Scariest: Origins - that's the one with Lindsey in the hell dimension right? I found that one incredibly creepy. You knew something bad was coming when they showed Lindsey living the suburban life - and it did. Having your heart ripped out just so it can happen again the next day, every day...*shivers*
Saddest: A Hole in the World along with Shells, its aftermath. Quite possibly the saddest episodes in the Whedonverse, along with the Body.

Favorite: This was a fantastic season so I have many favorites - Destiny, Damage and pretty much everything from Smile Time to Not Fade Away, excluding The Girl in Question.
 
Funniest-There was a lot of very funny episodes in this season such as 'Life of the Party', with the perfect comedy duo of a mystically drunk Fred and Wes. As well as 'Harm's Way' cos it's a Harmony episode. Can't go wrong with that! But my fav has to be 'The Girl In Question'. Every scene with Angel and Spike and their immature pettiness is hilarious.

Scariest-I would say 'Hellbound' is scariest. It has a lot of disturbing imagery and it's like a mini horror movie. That last shot is so creepy.

Saddest-This is such a sad season, we lose so many of our favourite characters. Obviously I have to say 'A Hole In The World' and 'Not Fade Away' because Fred and Wes die. Nooo! But the saddest has to be 'You're Welcome'. When you watch it the second time it's even more poignant with Cordelia trying to help everyone one out before she has to leave. The scene where she is talking to Wesley and she says somethig like 'I just wanted to tell you that before-' and she stops is SO sad cos you know what she is trying to say.

Favourite-I can't pick a favourite from this season. They are too many!

Scariest: Hell Bound-it was really creepy
Saddest: "A Hole In The World"- I could say it was the saddest episode in whole series.
Favourite: Great season so I have many favourites:biggrin:Couldn't left anything out.

Funniest: Smile Time, I serioiusly couldn't stop laughing the first time I saw that episode, and even now, I still laugh at the scene when Spike first sees Angel as a puppet.

Scariest: I'm going to have to agree with the others and say Hell Bound, that kind of stuff scares me, like "6th Sense" style.

Saddest: "A Hole in the World" or "You're Welcome" I kinda wished Cordy would come back and then You're Welcome happened and it was sad, then I replaced Cordy with Fred (Cordy being my second favorite character other than Angel) and then in A Hole in the World they took Fred away too, so I can't decide which one is sadder.

Favorite: Harm's Way, I like how it uses Harmony as the main character of the episode, I like how it's a twist from Angel always being the main character.
 
Funniest: Life of the Party, Harm's Way. The Girl in Question , Power Play ( just the wee but with the playstation lol )

Scariest: Hell Bound. I agree with Bluebird...it was like a mini horror movie.
Saddest: A Hole in the World. Saddest episode of Buffy or Angel.

Favorite: A Hole in the World. It's my favorite episode ever.
 
Funniest: The Girl in Question - i find it hilarious
Scariest: Hellbound
Saddest: You're Welcome - Cordy's departure always makes me cry, its the music
Favorite: Hard to choose - season five is my favourite Buffyverse season of all but Damage and Not Fade Away are particular favourites.
 
Funniest: Smile Time & Harm's Way (Tie)

Saddest: Youre Welcome, A Hole In The World, Shells, Not Fade Away (4-way tie)

Favorite: Shells
 
Funniest: Toss up between Life of the Party and Smile Time. Both are a riot!
Scariest: I'm with the majority here, Hell Bound.
Saddest: You're Welcome. Cordy 🙁

Funniest: Life of the Party & The Girl In Question

Scariest: HellBound & Underneath

Saddest: A Hole In the World, You're Welcome, & Not Fade Away....It was very emotional watching everyone live 'their final day' and the "would you like me to lie to you now?" scene was the 2nd most emotional scene of the entire series for me(2nd only to the closing Angel/Buffy scene from IWRY).

Favorite: This was my favorite season and there were to many brilliant episodes to choose one!

Funniest: Smile Time - Nothing is funnier than Puppet Angel vs Spike in an elevator....and Spike losing "You're a wee little puppet man!" A classic
Scariest: Has to be Hell Bound
Saddest: A Hole In The World, You're Welcome, Not Fade Away - all sooo sad. If I really had to choose I'd probs say AHITW
Favourite: Smile time - my fave Angel episode of all
