I just identified, located and purchased the Book that was used in the Buffy Episode: Fear, itself
This is the Book from which Gachnar's "Mark" was taken and painted on the floor of the frat house for the Halloween Party.

Pics and identity revealed when it arrives!

And look what book I just discovered in the third season episode "Dead Man's Party"

I thought I should post this just for reference.
It's my own "Picture Museum" Book and yes...that's Mr. Gordo sitting on top of it.

See. THIS! Is what a collection should look like. So much envy. =]
So it appears that this book saw a lot of action on Buffy and that Season Four was NOT it's first use!
I'm sure you remember this moment from "Dead Man's Party(Season Three), pay careful attention to the area's marked in red:
OvuMobaniPictureMuseum.jpg

Here it is from "Picture Museum" as it actually appears, the red arrows show very clearly that they kept the original border and apparently glued in the sketch of the mask:

It's very cool that they use same props for different occasions. It's not always good, but this one in particular really makes sense. It's from Giles' collection I guess, so they're like keeping it real, same book for the same purpose but in different times, the demon index item. I liked Mr, Gordo as well, very cool for you!

You're so lucky getting all those props and items, those things always interest me.
I remember when Buffy was about to over, they made that auction for all items from the show, and I obsessedly waited for a good deal on eBay, except I was too broke then and didn't manage to buy anything. That killed me, because I wanted a piece of memory (piece of history for me) from the show I've been watching and fanning for 7 years.

And question. About the book. Is it real? I mean the text, the information, demon details and all?

Thanks Chosen!
The funny thing is, I identified the book first in a Season Four episode so figured THAT was where it was first used...
mostly because, in "Fear, Itself" Giles is handed the book when he comes into the attic with the chainsaw.
I just assumed it was a book that Giles didn't have in his collection.
Now I'm finding it in Season Three and it's almost like a "Go-To" book for whatever ails you Mystically!
Here's my newest discovery in "Picture Museum"=
Check this pic out from the Season three episode: "Revelations"-
GlovePageinMuseumBook.jpg

Notice the words in red outlined on the opposing page?
They helped me to identify it in "Picture Museum"...
here is the whole opposing page from the book:
GlovePageFound.jpg

The picture to the right of the man on the horse with the Glove of Myhnegon on is completely different of course so I didn't bother posting it here.
I can't wait to see what other episodes this book shows up in!I'm going through Season Three right now looking for other appearances.
So far the tally is:

1) Dead Man's Party
2) Revelations
3) Fear, Itself

Glad you like my Mr. Gordo! He's not the "official" stuffed animal for the show or anything...he was a gift from a past girl-friend who I got hooked on Buffy...
and he's just so dang cute!😀

I found another one!
This time in one of my all time favorite Buffy Episodes:The Wish.

Here's the page as seen in the episode, note the red triangles around "Markers" I can see and used to identify this page:
TheWish.jpg

And the page as it really appears in the book:
TheWishACTUAL.jpg

All the markers are the same which means it's a match!

Here's the running tally as to where this book has been found to have been used so far:

1) Dead Man's Party(Season Four)
2) Revelations (Season Three)
3) Fear, Itself (Season Three)
4) The Wish (Season Three)

And another!
This one as seen in "Earshot" with a single line of words at the top and several easily seen words below "Eheyt" "is of a very" and the word "sovereign":
EarShot.jpg

Here is the page proper and you can even see the same section of smaller text that includes the words:
BookActualEarshot.jpg

That makes five episodes so far:

1) Dead Man's Party(Season Four)
2) Revelations (Season Three)
3) Fear, Itself (Season Three)
4) The Wish (Season Three)
5) Earshot (Season Three)

It's turning out that this book was used in a LOT of episodes so here's the running list of those episodes at the top:

1)Fear, Itself (Season Four)
2)The Wish (Season Three)
3)Dead Man's Party (Season Three)
4)Revelations (Season Three)
5)Earshot (Season Three)
6)Doomed (Season Four)

Yeah, sorry about that...
The last message was supposed to appear at the top of this thread for easy reference.
My photo's are becoming progressively more blurry as I go, not sure what that's about but here is a reference shot from Doomed:

DoomedBookUse.jpg

Note that while the drawing is "Fig. 109 Vahrall Demon"
the third line below it clearly states that Fig. 109 is something called "Behemoth". It made for a fairly quick identification in "Picture Museum".

That's excellent D.V.! You should post some pics when you receive it!
I wasn't sure if anyone really noticed what was going on in this thread but apparently I was wrong! My bad.
Here's another for you...just found it tonight in Season Four's Superstar:
Superstar.jpg

And from my volume of Picture Museum:
SuperstarBook.jpg

That brings the running tally up to seven episodes so far that this book has been positively identified as being used in:

1)Fear, Itself (Season Four)
2)The Wish (Season Three)
3)Dead Man's Party (Season Three)
4)Revelations (Season Three)
5)Earshot (Season Three)
6)Doomed (Season Four)
7)Superstar (Season Four)

Two more yet a bit more obscure than the others:
First one is an appearance in Season Five Episode: Forever.
The book is sitting on Willow and Terra's Book Shelf.
ForeverSeasonFive.jpg

Second one is in Season Six in the Episode: Flooded.
Pretty clearly "Picture Museum" but the page placement is interesting as it's directly opposite the page that was used for the Vahrall Demon from "Doomed".
FloodedSeasonSix.jpg

That brings the running tally to nine appearances:

1)Fear, Itself (Season Four)
2)The Wish (Season Three)
3)Dead Man's Party (Season Three)
4)Revelations (Season Three)
5)Earshot (Season Three)
6)Doomed (Season Four)
7)Superstar (Season Four)
8)Forever (Season Five)
9)Flooded (Season Six)

I'm going to bring this to a close with what I believe to be the last use of the "Picture Museum" Book in Buffy.
Certainly, if anyone else finds anything further please post it here or PM me with the info to verify.
Here then from Once More, With Feeling
The male Mandrake Root Image was taken from "Picture Museum" on page [HASHTAG]#346[/HASHTAG]:
OnceMoreWithFeelingBuffy.jpg

My final Tally:
1)Fear, Itself (Season Four)
2)The Wish (Season Three)
3)Dead Man's Party (Season Three)
4)Revelations (Season Three)
5)Earshot (Season Three)
6)Doomed (Season Four)
7)Superstar (Season Four)
8)Forever (Season Five)
9)Flooded (Season Six)
10)Once More, With Feeling (Season Six)

Just to let you all know, myself and Kitty Arcade are assembling all the photos seen on Buffy and used in this book.
The difficulty involved has to do with the images were all for the most part seen at angles and not straight-on.
The toughest of the images is proving to be the one of the Medieval Fellow on horse-back who is wearing the Glove of Myhnegon as this particular picture was not shown on Buffy as a complete image but was cut off on the bottom by the screen which means all that detail needs to be recreated from scratch.
To the best of my knowledge Kitty is taking on the restoration of that image.
If anyone who has purchased "Picture Museum" and wants copies of these images to place in it, please PM me.
