Game of Thrones

I seriously doubt it. I think Danny will die by Jorah Mormont.

I just meant
that they are related. Dany is his aunt? Will Jon be immune to fire too? Can he wield dragons aswell? His claim as King of the North could be in jeopardy. But then, I can't figure out how Jon or Daenerys finding this information out will actually transpire. Only Bran knows?

Jon should not be immune to fire as, according to the books, Danny is not either. I think Howland Reed knows. I think they (Bran and Meera) will gather up Howland on the way to Winterfell to verify what Bran saw.

Oh my lord! What a fantastic way to end the season.

Some of my personal highlights:

I loved the look Jaime gave Cersei as she sat on the throne.... it was half disbelief, half fear.
I loved Cersei 'confessing' to Septa Unella (although what did The Mountain do to the Septa as Cersei was leaving? - I didn't quite get it?)
Poor Tommen committing suicide. I did wonder how he'd meet his maker.
Arya slicing Walder Frey's throat after serving him some son pie!
Poor poor Margaery - I will miss her. I did feel she deserved more of a death scene, she was a great character to watch, and I guess we'll never know if she was truly bluffing her way with the Faith or not? Cersei finally one-upped the Queen.
Seeing Varys in Dorne was literally the best thing to ever happen in Dorne
Seeing The Queen of Thorns hush the stupid sand snakes is the second best thing to ever happen in Dorne
I got a bit teary when Danaerys named Tyrion 'Hand of the Queen'
I'm glad she's got her ships and is finally on the move to Westeros, to face Queen Cersei, first of her name
Who run the world? Girls! Apart from at Winterfell, I'm not sure what Sansa thought about that, but Littlefinger seemed annoyed?
I was half expecting Jon to proclaim Sansa Queen of the North. Jon being proclaimed King of the North was pretty cool though
Lady Lyanna Mormont is a legend!
Littlefinger is creepy. Sansa is hopefully smart enough to keep an eye on him.
And Jon's definitely Lyanna's son, which will give the theorists some joy
Poor poor Davos. He loved Princess Shireen with all his heart. I'm surprised he didn't kill Melisandre there and then.

Bring on Season 7!

I thought he was standing at her side though? That's why it didn't seem to make sense to me.... ?
I think they were afraid after the backlash of Ramsey last year. When Cersei was walking around her she ran her hand over the inside(ish) of her legs and she flinches. It was alluding to sexual abuse. Then her legs were agape when the Mountain entered. I am not sure of his positioning but in my mind it was at a 'normal' position and he was not at her side.

Ok, well I won't be watching again to be sure.....!

Also, I notice she called him Ser Gregor Clegane instead of Ser Robert Strong....

Pretty good season finale.

Cersei was the highlight. Loved to see her blew up the Sept and the High Sparrow.
Too bad about some other characters I wouldn't have mind to see more of though... but well you can't have it all I guess. 🙂

/SK

Yeah, I wanted to see The Hound in the finale, even just a little bit. I thought we'd have seen something with Jorah too.

See, I saw that scene a lot differently.
Sansa is going to side with Littlefinger. When they were at the meeting hall and everyone was like the North Remembers, we follow a Stark... she was all happy and smiley, thinking Littlefinger was wrong and she won. Then when they said even though he's a bastard he's our king, she got the biggest scowl and gave Jon such a hateful look. Then looked at Littlefinger like you were right, they wont accept me.
I just meant in a smaller scale, denying him the kiss.

And Tommen, King's Landing indeed.

Good call. Hahaha!

Well for once, I am up to date, with the rest of the world.

I found season 6 very predictable, but it perhaps because what I wanted to finally happen, happened.

I started watching the show, promised dragons and war. I got that!

Battle of the Bastards was my favourite to date. I knew Sansa would save the day, but was also uncertain, as Jon was! That first scene with him riding that big black horse. Wow. I am so freaking jealous! (Plus, I could have got the horse to go faster 😉 yelling YA! Is not as effective as some other methods haha! And that thing had POWER!). The horse scenes were unbelivable! So impressed! What amazing animal handlers they have on the team. The shot of them riding forward to battle - perfect! It is not easy to keep horses from losing it when galloping in a group with costumes and I know some is cgi, but credit to the horse team.

(Side note, last royal show, andalusian costume class, 3 horses bolted during the gallop. Luckily me and my horse were buggered from the display ride anyway - who has energy for more than one lap? Not us lol)

Im no longer shocked by it all, and react in glee when hated characters get their due.

I suspected the Hound was still going. And enjoyed Deny and yaras flirting. Girl power woo!

Cersi blowing it all up, fantastic! I wasnt sure they'd kill Margaery, I thought for a second she would escape. But as soon as they lingered on the window, I knew what came next.

I was blissful when Cersi was crowned. We've got some good stories ahead I hope!

Wow what a season and what a finish! I really enjoyed the atmospheric build up at the start. The pacing and music made everything feel even more tense and to see everything go up in flames like that was crazy. Great to see the religious nuts finally cleared out. Gutted to lose so many Tyrell's though.

The stage is all set for next years battle of the Mad Queens. Quite what Cersi will have left to through at the advancing horde I don't know but with nothing left to lose she can just focus on being vile and holding the throne.

I'm not sure if they've got much of an army left up North now but at least they all seem to be pointing in the right direction. The petty squabbles are going to look really silly when the zombies arrive. Where's Ghost though? Has he been left as Lord Commander while Jon is gallivanting?

Apparently they ran out of budget for Ghost, which is why he's not seen at the end of Season 6 at all, but presumably he's around somewhere. Just chillin'. 😀

The Bronze
The Bronze
Demanding a massive salary after hitting the big time. What a diva!
Great to see the religious nuts finally cleared out.
The "religious nuts" are the only group besides Daenerys who cares about villagers and townies. Cersei and Tyrells they "persecuted" are worse people than them.
