Have you ever found anything your quite proud of?Surprised someone was selling it?

Well, last saturday someone was selling a buffy board game... I spasmed damn near freaked, Why are ya selling ya buffy stuff??? Oh, I got it for $5 :winking15 ::drool:🙁nothins' missing) and that well made my day... (selling yer buffy stuff blasphamy : scratch )

thats the most recent find I can think of , gotta look thru my treasures ...
 
I didn't know there was a Buffy Board Game!! That's so cool...I freaked out when I found a question in Trivia Pursuit about Buffy 🙂

I usually go to the Meadowlands Flea Market but I usually shop at the vendors who are selling new (and cheap) stuff. They have like really good designer knockoff bags and irregular clothes from Express, Abercrombie, The Limited, etc..
 
(Speaking of Trivial Pursuit, I'm making my own Buffy-version of it as we speak 😉)

There's this shop here where I live that's own by the red cross and they sell stuff that people donate/give to them. You can find pretty kewl stuff. I've never found any buffy stuff but once I found a ABBA puzzle and that still makes me giddy 😛
Also, once every year there's this BIG flea market in a football stadium a bit outside town. That's like the happiest day of my life. There I always find comic books, action figures and all that stuff a nerd craves.
 
Yes, I love to go to them. I normally take my youngest since he is the best at sniffing out deals. I am hoping to redo my living room in only antique furniture and desperately looking for a clawfoot tub for my bathroom.

And a Buffy board game.. I didn't know about this either..

I like flea markets.. used to buy everything second hand some years ago.. Now I don't buy anything except Buffy stuff and that you can't find anywhere here..
 
I never liked going to flea markets. The ones I went to were always smelly and the people were really shady. Plus, I'd always get ripped off. Nope, Wal-Mart is the only way to go. 😛

my town..well..the next town over has a market every wednesday...thats ok...
its neat to go around to things with bargains and cheap stuff.
i got a couple of buffy books for a quarter...and...got the board game at a store..full price had it awhile..also got one of the trading card thigns from the market..the class of 99 one...

i got typewriters for like 5 bucks.

my fave tho was this book beurs in the nl, books for like 50 cents and up...really good books too, a whole warehouse. it was Good. i was a pack mule. 5 book bags full of boks. 🙂
 
I like going to garage sales. I got a cool Blastoise and Charizard plushie, and they don't sell those anymore😀 I never found any buffy stuff, but I am keeping my eyes open if I find any😉
 
I know there are two versions of the board game, US and UK. Not sure what the differences are but the UK one is crap.

My best find was 12 Spiderman comincs from 1981, great condition all for £5. Could not believe it when I saw them, but kept my game face on until I gave him the money and got them, then I started laughing.

The UK one really is crap! I have it and I think i've played it...twice, in the 5 years I've had it.

I don't tend to go Gararge sells or flea markets, Ido buy second hand DVD's from Blockbuster though. I got Scooby Doo 2 on DVD the other day for £5!! And it was in perfect condition!

My parents got it for me at Christmas one year, thinking they were doing something nice. Which it was, but I played it once when I went to uni, and ended up changing some things and making it a drinking game 😉 It made things much more interesting 😀
 
I just had a garage sale myself this weekend...I'm sooo tired...lots of idiots about trying to get everything for nothing 🙁 Pisses me off...but I made $50 this weekend I didn't have before so that's cool 🙂
 
if board games crap I didnt lose much...

yesterday I found more buffy stuff I gort the master af s16', angwel vamp face6', willow s1 red pants and a 12 inch buffy in a blue shirt all for $25!!!!!
