Welcome to the Hellmouth
Giles was nearly perfect. Some of his scenes were scarily scandalous with Buffy. He was so close to her face in a few of them, and on the balcony at The Bronze all I could think of was Spike and Buffy up there seasons later.
Willow was far more shy and vulnerable than I remember. I liked it. It was cute. It's surprising, though, because of where she ends up by the end of the show. It's like she's a completely different person. I can't even imagine such a character journey!
"You're strong, I'm stronger." - Luke
When Luke appears on screen again, manhandles Darla and Buffy, and has such a confident persona to him it makes me long to find out his story. I know Darla's and Angel's, I don't remember Luke's... probably cause he doesn't have one? I want to know how old he is, all the epic bad ass things he's accomplished and things of that nature.
Jessie! I love Eric Balfour. I used to watch him in Veritas The Quest. Now he's in Haven. He's great. He plays Duke Crocker, you guys should watch it.
It was perfect how Cordelia is slowly revealed to be a bitch, pushing Buffy toward Willow!
The dialogue in this episode was up and down for me. Some of it seemed lame and on the nose. Some of it was snappy and hilarious with perfect timing. Half of the time, though, they were using some weird teen speak, which comes off really poorly.
Angel was too cocky and strange in the first ep! Not enough depth just yet. I love cocky Angel/Spike, just wasn't feeling it in this one.
TO BE CONTINUED - Buffy should have been dead before that even came on the screen! lol Luke seemed super powerful.
This might have been too much, maybe not enough, maybe I should just rate them?

The Harvest
Luke knows of the slayer. The last time someone fought him and lived was in 1843. This fascinates me. The Master has incredible faith in Luke's abilities. He is no doubt more powerful and wise than Angel. Back in the day he was probably a big-wig. It's a shame we never see or hear of him in any flashbacks, do we?
"They can fly?!"
"Drive."
"Oh..."
The Master's appearance arises much speculation for me. Do all vampires as old as him look like that? Does he have a human face or did he keep his face in vamp form for so long that it stayed that way? Or worse... do vampires when they hit a certain age just degrade in appearance to look like that? Or is he a pure demon vampire and looks the way he does because he was never human?
Angel's attitude doesn't match anything we know about his actions in the past. When did he get so cocky and joke cracky. I did see a tinge of vulnerability grow from him in the episode when he stumbles to answer one of Buffy's questions. That was good.
Buffy telling the great story of her exacto knife beheading of a jock. lol
Oh my gosh Harmony! Cordelia and her scene in the computer lab was great. "Deliver" :O lol
The Jessie reveal is always cool.
"You want blood?"
"Yours, I want only yours."
"Sunrise... it's in about 9 hours, moron."
"Nooooo!" I scream this with The Master. I liked Luke.
The ending scene of this episode bumps up my enjoyment a great deal! "The earth is doomed." Such an iconic and well shot scene! Second part was better than the first.

The Witch
Buffy's mom comes off really poorly and accurate to real life in this episode. It plays a great parallel with Amy's creepy mom to make it not to wild and out there that her mother acts the way she does.
Xander looks at porn... book porn in witch books. This scene is hilarious. I also just notice the book/locker/prison type room in the library. Very cool. So unsuspecting and so useful for future episodes.
Cordy goes blind, random girl looses her mouth... how can this not be world wide news and warrant scientific FBI investigation! lol it happened in front of everyone.
Holy crap. Amy's mom being inside Amy is a huge and shocking reveal. Well, before it is revealed I mean. The moment she gets home and talks to her mom and tells her to do her homework. I was shocked. I love how she was acting the whole time at school, pretending to be Amy. It was very convincing before this.
"You're my Xander-shaped friend."
Giles likes to take his glasses off. I want them.
I've grown into a horrible human. I rooted for Lucas. I'm 1/10th rooting for the epic witch magic which body swaps you into a younger body. Bad guys rock.
Haha oh my god. Holy crap! Willow just got punched in the face!
I remembered this episode being so much worse than it actually is. The way Buffy deals with this big bad, kicking a metal science lab thing to reflect the spell back upon her was genius. And for her mom to live her life in a trophy, watching all the kids for the rest of her life until the school inevitably blows up... harsh.
Looking back, I enjoyed this a ton more this than the last time I saw it.

Teacher's Pet
Buffy finds herself a nice, caring teacher who enjoys and see's good things ahead for he. He then dies horribly, which sucked.
"Would you like to touch me with those hands?"
"Only virgins? Well Xander's not a... uh, I mean he's probably -"
"Gunna die."
I enjoyed the virgin aspect of the episode. I found Xander's insecurities and his crush on Buffy a strong focal part of the episode. Does this imply that Buffy isn't a virgin?
"Now I can get out of my cage... into yours."
It was touching at the end for Buffy in class after she lost her teacher and had a new, boring one.
I didn't take away much from this episode. I've never been a fan of it and it didn't surprise me this time around.
Teacher's Pet - 4/10
Writing is evil! I'm just gunna rate them after this!

The Pack
Many people hate this episode, but It's one of my favorite's from season 1. Xander is a wicked cool bad ass. I wish he got to do this more often. The quiet walking, the cool stares, frak yes. I love the 'pack' of bullies in this one.

Angel
"The Three" How can the 3 get wtfpwned, when The Master and Darla look up to them?
How come none of them had a personality? Mindless drones! Letting Darla kill them.
And omg. Angel is like 21 macking on a 16 year old, but really he is like... 240ish?
Darla brought two freaking guns. Yes.
Best episode so far!
Angel - 9/10

I, Robot...You, Jane
Fast and the Furious actor had a small part in this episode as Dave.
