I just thought I would share 😀 I'm pretty sure this happened in Canada and the US (correct me if I'm wrong), but this week, this sign:

http://www.ctvnews.ca/sci-tech/that...quality-box-gets-millions-of-shares-1.1213852

went pretty viral (I know it was at least all over fb). I think it's awesome how so many people are supporting the cause! Finally things seem to be moving and for any negative response I saw at least 50 other people defending the cause. Maybe I do still have hope in humanity after all!

Anyhow, just thought it was pretty interesting and that I should share it with my BB friends!

I was part of the movement... I changed mine yesterday, but ended up changing it back today. Not because I didn't want to keep sporting the image, but because it was starting to get confusing for me, since so many of my friends were using it too. 😉

Oh I had wondered what that was all about. I saw loads of people changing their pics on facebook and twitter but not one of them bothered to explain what it was which felt a bit counterproductive to me 😛 I suppose maybe if I was from the US or Canada I would have understood but as it was I was sitting here all "what in the heck is this?" Letting the image speak for itself doesn't work for spreading the message to us clueless folk!

Now that I know what it was all about though it was really nice to see all the pics changed to that! I hope the whole thing helped and the talks about it go well!

Reblogged it yesterday on tumblr (when I finally got what was going on). Even saw the picture of girl with a post that said "Fangirl for marriage equality" with a picture of Klaine (from Glee).

And Misha Collins re-tweeted the picture of someone showing off a Destiel banner. Made my day 🙂 (for thost who don't watch Supernatural, Castiel is an angel and he doesn't care about sexual preferences because he's CLEARLY in love with Dean)

🙂 haha. I have to scroll through FB so slowly. They are everywhere. I won't lie, I enjoy seeing the symbols all over the place.

Same! The first one I saw was from True Bloods facebook, so I thought it was a marketing campaign for True Blood, a lot of sharing but no explaining lol!

I've seen people in Sweden using it too. But gay marriage equality isn't really a thing in Sweden, it's legal everywhere here. The way it should be. It's absurd people think they have the power to decide who other people falls in love with and marry. All love is beautiful, saying something else is hateful.

Here is a link of a United States graph and the people who changed their image. I know many people said it pointless to change it, because unless you are pro-active about it, you are just crossing your fingers, however it made the headlines of nearly every news medieum in the U.S. Not too shabby.

here is the link..

and the image.. it makes more sense if you read the link that goes with it, hah.

The fact that people still dispute people that are Gay as 'wrong' in 2013, is,it's a loss of words to be honest lol.

Society for all of it's advances, still very much lacks the simple things of acceptance and the freedom to be what you want in life.
