I am in the process of looking for a new toaster. They were silly pricing in the local shop, so I figure if I am going to spend $50 on a toaster, it might as well be one I like.

I see so much other stuff I like too! I want this

Out of interest, how would you deck out your kitchen in geek?

Geek kitchenware is hard to find, unless you like Star Wars 😉 I do however love a range by Joseph Joseph, which is basically brightly coloured plastic. My kitchen is filled with it. 😀

Etsy is great for unique stuff, but it's not cheap.

I do have a Star Wars chopping board, and did find a Buffy one on Etsy, but I wouldn't want to actually scratch it! 😀

Yeah, all I could find so far is a darth vader toaster, and I am a bigger fan of other things.

Thanks for those names, I am googling now. I have bright blue knives and coloured spoons whenever I can find them.

The other option is find one at the op shop and decorate it, but I dont want to burn the house down either.

We've got tons of Joseph Joseph stuff as well...the rubber serving spoons are brilliant for non-stick pans.... 🙂

Have I just blown my macho image there?

Did you ever have a macho image @Last Watcher ? 😛

Today I was looking at my pond and really want to get that going again! If only there were fandom fountains too... Postage would be a bitca haha.

I have not had much luck with buffy/firefly homewares - there are a fair few GOT things about though.

I wonder if any creative fans have self made stuff for personal use? Care to share ideas?

I kinda want a Mr Pointy stirring spoon...

I'd like to think so......but probably not.... :D
I've seen a lot of Doctor Who stuff around as well, but I have decorated a plant pot beore, that was easy enough just used an old book and used pages from that.

I have a doctor who pot too that I mosaiced out of a broken mug. Thanks for reminding me I CAN fandomise the garden too hehe. Mugs are easy to find and fun to smash 😛

Im browsing the link you sent now, some cool things! And good ideas too, to try myself. Imagining clay around that dodgy long handled lighter for the fire, to make it into a sonic screwdriver.
