Gellar talks about maybe doing an Angel episode

I don't hate SMG. I like her. I enjoy her human flaws.

Just don't let yourselves be turned into pod-people, is all I'm saying. I disapprove of that, because when you become one, the time soon comes when you want me to be a pod-person too.

Think about things, before you accept them blindly is all I'm saying.

You're not taking into acconts the fact that Angel's highest rating episodes a) take palce after Buffy has finished, so people from Buffy may start watching Angel then b) come years later, it has been said Angel has gained mroe viewers as the years went by and c) Angel will have Buffy's fan base because its a spin off and it's own fane base. People are less likely to watch Angel then watch Buffy.

I don't see a problem with that. The question remains, is Angel in Buffy's shadow?

It's kind of like this. An acorn falls from a tree. It grows in the parent tree's shadow. If it should grow taller than the parent (whether in shelter or not), which tree is in the other's shadow?

Also I say again, Joss and ME know better than Sarah what's best for Angel. Her excuse is lame.
 
Angel had the highest ratings ever for the first episode(first Season). It was 4.8. And i think it was also the highest ratings for both shows. ( there are 2 different ratings national and overnight)

nerd4hire, I don't think she talks about the quality of the show. I think she means about the media attention.
 
Well I totally believe her, if you think she is lieing then nice for you. I do not think that she needs to make up anything just to get buffy fans not to be mad at her, she didnt even have to say anything to Sci Fi. Buffy has always gotten a lot more coverage in media then Angel has and most fans even say that Angel(the show) has always been in Buffys shadow and I also agree with this. Even look on this board now their are some posts that say they are afraid if Buffy does appear it will be all about her and her relation ship with Angel and Spike. Quite afew of the people on here have started to dislike Sarah just because she supposely "didnt" want to appear on Angel, and I just think thats stupid.

And IMO we can not compare Buffys last season ratings and Angel season ratings since Buffy was on UPN and not that many people get that network andi ts also the most unpopular network at that(they almost went down last year) whereas ALOT more people get the WB network.

I think if Joss gives SMG a good run down on what he wants to do with the charecter in the last episode and it isnt all centered around Buffy and her relation ships then she probably will appear.
 
Buffy had better ratings than Angel This are the National ratings, those are the important ones.

Again I say arguing by numbers is kind of pointless, because anyone can make them say anything they want just by the way they arrange them, but if you insist on having this ratings debate, beat these ones.

Well, maybe some of us are reading different articles.

Hello.... she said she would try, as long as she is back in town on time. AND THEY HAVE NOT EVEN CONTACTED HER TO BE IN IT AND THE LAST EPISODES ARE FILMING.

How much more clearer do you need it? She is busy. She has a life. She is working. She just can't drop everything just to go on and guest star on Angel.

LOL Dizzy you are so cute! I agree with you. We gotta stop bickering over the Sarah/Buffy/Finale thing guys. We all have our opinions and we are all entitled to them. Bottom line we are all Buffy & Angel fans so let's just keep it at that and we'll see what happens with the finale.

I think she was really reasonable in her explanation except for some things. It sounded like all these excuses rolled into one. Why couldn't she have told why before? I think the piece she said about getting out of Buffy's shadow is just trash... I can understand the family matters part, though. It's only for one episode. She's not gonna get out of Buffy's shadow any faster. Now that I look at it like that, I think she's lying, but I'm still hopeful.
