"Gellar To Return As Geriatric Buffy?"

Well a film about an older Buffy would work, I think a movie with Buffy no older then 35 would be ok. She would be known as the oldest living Slayer a live and then they could finally kill her off or do whatever they wanted to do with her, have her offically retire.
 
SMG could easily pass for someone in her mid 20's! she's not a grandma! Plus, she doesnt do most of the fighting, thats stunt people, all she have to do is walk around and be buffy! I'd love to see her come back for buffy, mainly because I could never picture anyone else in that role, it just wouldnt be 'right'.
 
Seemed like she was joking about the geriatric part, and I'd love any kind of spin-off. Actually I'd just love any kind of Whedon show on my tv again.
 
I Dunno, it could be done really well since now all the slayers are on the loose... Imagine the stories Buffy could tell her kids... or imagine her child coming into slayerhood, how would she cope with the heavy shadow of her mothers adventures hanging over her head.... Oooo errr the expectations, the retaliations...

Granmah buffy would be glorious 😀
 
I would like to see Buffy come back in a movie. That would be the best way to bring her and the whole gang back.

But that would be a little bit late, don't you think? Majority of the fans and the cast would move on. 🙁 I guess we have to wait till the comics come out, I really hope that they are a good and fair continuation of the series because they will be considered as canon and will determine the future of the series.
 
On one hand I'd love to see a Buffy feature film and on the other I love the fact that right now we can sorta write our own individual futures for Buffy...I would be afraid to be disappointed by what Joss decided to give us. Although he does usually know best.
 
James Marsters and David Boreanaz seem to age well, but in a few years they'll be simply to old. Then again I'm sure fans would just overlook it. They'd be to happy seeing their favorite slayer and vampires to care.
 
lol, just a quick thought, surely if joss wanted to, he could write in the story that somehow vampires with a soul age like normal human beings...or something. As that would sort out the problem, and kinda make sense...or not. just a thought.

Yes, but that would definately be a negatition of all vampire anthology to this day. A great risk and totally unnecessary. All Joss has to do is to make the whole team come together; JM is in, DB was in till "Bones", Gellar can use a comeback...

The only spin off I REALLLY want to see is a Faith one, how would they swing the older than dirt Buff idea? I dont know, it sounds alittle iffy to me, I always thought it would be way funny to see Buffy try and fight when she thinks shes pregnant, then find out shes not..I dont know if her being real old would have the same effect, and they would have tons of years to fill in.
